Looks like that old rumor about drama drama between Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande is unfortunately resurfacing! Yes, as we’re sure you know, there has been tons of rumored back and forth between these two in recent months, and now Jennette has taken to her new web series to throw what some are calling some serious shade at her former Sam & Cat co-star.
So, let’s just give you a little background here. Ever since the cancellation of the Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat, Jennette started a semi-autobiographical web series called “What’s Next For Sarah?” It’s basically about a young Hollywood actress whose show gets cancelled and centers on her navigating the next steps in her career. Sound familiar?
In this particular episode of the web series, “Sarah” runs into a familiar face named “Gloriana” who is most likely supposed to represent, ya know, Ariana. Jennette, uh we mean, Sarah, seems less than thrilled to see this acquaintance as “Gloriana” basically just sits there talking about how awesome she is and how well things are going for her. Not to mention, this Gloriana person is dressed pretttttty similar to Ariana Grande’s Cat character, so lot of people out there are saying it’s obvious Jennette is trying to send a message here. Let’s take a look:

I dont think Jennette should have done this but this makes me question, we cant base Ariana's personality by her Instagram, interviews, Twitter or even by fans who have met her, etc, and Jennette has met her and she is basically basing the show in her life so maybe this is Arianas personality, and maybe she is jealous of her but if someone talks just about all of their success thats being self centered, based on the clip, but she still shouldnt have thrown shade online thats immature and makes her look bad.

Why cant you Arianators just accept that there might actually be some truth behind this, instead of just saying that Jennette is jealous. Unlike 99.9% of yall, Jennette actually knows Ariana. So that means that the way she's being portrayed might actually be accurate.

It's sad the fact that Jennette and Ariana's friendship ended the way it did. My opinion is probably biased seeing as I am a massive die-hard fan of Ariana's, but I'm not going to deny what Jennette said about her. I don't know either of them personally so I can't believe one thing or the other, I'm just sad that Ariana seemed to behave this way around Jennette. I assume that they just weren't compatible as friends or as people, and that's fine. Good for Jennette for deciding to leave a friendship that did her no good and made her feel miserable, and I hope Ari's taken note of her behaviour. What I really don't like though is that the Gloriana character is such as OBVIOUS dis to Ari and I think it's just sooo unprofessional of Jennette. Yes, it makes sense to include a character like that if that is a part of your life that has happened, but you should rather represent that person in a way that is A LOT more subtle and only conveys the nature of the relationship and the person rather than just trying to stir drama by painting the character and name WAY to obviously. I thought that previously, Jennette dealt with the drama very respectfully and professionally, but I'm now very disappointed to find out how she's been suddenly so childish about it.

Ariana is NOT perfect. There ya go. Deal with it. Her image seems fake and her whole attitude seems a little annoying (not as bad as in the skit though) Of course Jeanette definitely seems jealous and I can't blame her.

I love how people blame Jennette yet Ariana is the one starting all the problems. First, all she does is talk about herself on Twitter (why I unfollowed her) and she got pissed when Jennette pictures leaked. It really isn't any of her business, and if she was a real friend to Jennette, she would of been more supportive. She seriously needs a reality check and everyone needs to stop thinking she's perfect. Not to mention, she cheated on Jai Brooks.

Honestly, ariana should be flattered that jennette made a character that's basically her on jennettes show. Yeah it's kind of rude but whatever. Jennettes probably just insanely jealous of Ariana's success.

omg. how insanely rude of Jennette. like seriously, though. everyone know this is totally directed at Ariana. "Gloriana" is obviously Ariana. the bows in "Gloriana's" hair that is pulled up into Ari's signature ponytail syle, and her flowery dress almost exactly resemble everything about Ariana and her former character Cat. plus how she says "wow you've turned vegan!" is another way to know that she is talking about Ariana because Ari is a vegan. and also the way she sarcastically says how great "Gloriana's" life is is a huge dis to Ariana. I just can't believe how jealous she is. Ariana is probably watching Jennette on this show and laughing her head off. anyone agree?

I'm not picking sides (although I do like Ariana more), but I must say that Jennette definitely threw shade at her. Gloriana - Ariana, the ponytail - a hairstyle Ariana wears a lot, the bow in her hair - Ariana loves bows, and the fact that Gloriana is a vegan (so is Ariana). Not hating on Jennette or anything--We don't know the full story.
