Spending a quiet day in and watching documentaries like this really does bring a sense of comfort.

I seen in the news that they've put these on YouTube for free at the request of teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. They've always allowed teachers access to educational documentaries via Netflix for free (so they can show students in class), but now teachers are having to move classes online. Very commendable to see a global big fish putting education before making an extra buck! Well done Netflix!

David Attenborough and his narrations are simply incredible. I've always had an interest in wildlife and nature documentaries and to me David Attenborough narrating them completes it for me. Such an iconic voice and what a legend
  • For every person who's appreciating this incredible work, this is not just a SERIES it's something more than that, trying to tell us something, request us something. It will make an equally incredible change if each and every single person among us watching this take a step, even if it's a small one, towards saving these beautiful and innocent creatures. This earth is their home as much as it is ours.

These documentaries make you realise how beautiful, rare and full of life our planet is. It's extremely beautiful to even exist on this earth surrounded by so many wonders.

I just can’t imagine how much effort the people behind the scenes take to get these amazing shots. Also, the time it takes to get these facts, shots, and difficulties along the way. I would just like to give a tip of the hat to Netflix and Planet Earth.
  • I can't watch this without tearing up. Knowing we are born in the very end of time.
  • @pencilsniper
