Fun fact: David Attenborough is the same age as the Queen of England (94)! He is also the only known producer to have won awards for documentaries in Black and White, Colour, 3D and 4K. He is literally one of a kind.

I cant imagine the amount of time and work that went into this series. Most of these scenes are just breathtaking. Nature is amazing.
  • @jodiehawkes04
Can we just appreciate how incredible it is that they managed to get such high quality, up close footage of even the deepest sea creatures? This is stuff people couldn’t have even dreamed to do only a few years ago.

Dude... i cant believe this is on youtube ... FOR FREE The quality mannnnnnnn
  • Am I the only one that’s DEADLY afraid of water/the sea, but this finds it the most beautiful part of our planet?
  • There is so much beauty on our planet. We need to take care of it.

That blue whale part actually got me tearing up. Such beautiful creatures sharing a peaceful and joyous moment together. I can only pray that things stay that way for all the glorious species that roam this wonderful planet.
  • My biggest fear and regret in life is that I shall die without seeing and experiencing all the beautiful places, animals, weather phenomenon, etc, that our world has. I love these documentaries so much.
  • @hanisdx
Man, hats off to the camera men and the whole crew. It's just breath taking!!!

The cure to depression and the bitterness of our modern life is to see such things. Its so easy to forget that hidden from our daily lives lies a type of gold that cannot be bought, but only seen, understood and felt. I hope in heaven we all have one or a couple of each kind to play and interact with. It actually hurts being so far away, almost cut off from all these amazing creatures, loving them with far away eyes isnt enough
  • David Attenborough is a LEGEND. Should be given a Nobel Peace Prize for propagating peace between humans and other life forms through his hypnotic voice and majestic lens.
  • @jeremytole3493
I swear David Attenborough's love and respect for nature is what is keeping him healthy and strong in his 90s.
  • Even this video was uploaded 2 years ago, It's still touched my heart to love more our planet, the animals and environment. I hope that there should be more global agreements on protecting wild life in lands and oceans. Excellent narration by the way! No doubt why netflix is now popular!
  • I'm a customer of Netflix. I salute them for making this wonderful documentary available to the wider audience for free.
  • Can we just appreciate Netflix posting the full thing so we can all learn and enjoy the world rather than being forced to pay to learn how beautiful the world is how we could save it. Props to you. (Warning, karen in comments)

Literally shedding in tears especially with that whales song. It flashes the cycle of life right before my eyes in an instant. Huge respect for the sacrifices of once precious life to sustain others existence.
  • I just can’t imagine how much effort the people behind the scenes take to get these amazing shots. Also, the time it takes to get these facts, shots, and difficulties along the way.
