Im alone a lot and I feel like I do shadow work all day just about everyday! I absolutely agree that fear is the root cause of procrastination
  • Shadow work saved my life. I went so deep inside faced all fears took over my shadow self merged it with my light self and became one with it all.
  • @michaeljeacock
what you resist persists. look into the dark corners of your subconscious, welcome it up to the surface, learn what it has to teach you, and let it go.

More of this Clark please. You are getting to the essence of inner work. For me, my shadow work changed how I see others and, through that, how i see myself. Now I know, when meeting new people, everyone is ‘broken’ like me, and that is ok, because that is the human condition. Those insecurities, fears and defences are at the heart of all of us. It can sometimes actually be faintly amusing to see friends deny them while leaking them left and right! Of course ‘Society’ demands that we hide them but I nowadays can feel so much more compassionate when I see them because I have them in me too. That takes much of the pressure off me to be perfect. I can accept myself as normal, flaws and all. Keep spreading the good stuff.

"Self confidence comes from accepting yourself ". Thank you ❤
  • @amritrosell8561
More of this please! People creating from a vulnerable place is so so so much needed. ❤
  • @heathercody46
“Okay, light some sage. I am going to write about my darkest.” 😂 Great video
  • @Lovereems
This was incredible & similar to what I told my therapist earlier today. I said “I don’t want to feel like a project to be fixed” and then this was such a strange synchronicity
  • Yep, Keep looking for problems and you’ll keep finding them. I’ve definitely coached people who have been on this train for MANY years with no end in sight.
  • @sunofsonz
7:07 I never thought about how much pressure a YouTuber could be under. Just that I’m over here wishing I could have it together like you. I hope you know that the real ones like and appreciate you just as you are. Thanks for putting yourself out there to help us while wrestling with these feelings ❤

This video's concept is SO underrated for the spiritual community! I was so hard on myself for so many years for having a shadow. Now that I'm starting to integrate these concepts into my life i feel i can finally start to relax and trust in how things are. Call it perfectionism, its a mental disease, really. Thankfully we can heal ourseleves, and you Clark are aiding in that process. Much gratitutde, thank you!!
  • This is EXACTLY the conclusion I came to as well over the past few months. I just watched my entire friend group fall apart bc they all got triggered by someone else’s healing and they started blaming that their discomfort of the situation was someone else’s fault instead of looking at their own healing instead. Gosh you said it so well too that laughter is the key! My entire friend group Started taking everything way too seriously including me, because fear is exciting and confusing when you don’t have answers on how to heal yourself. It’s easy to point the finger and blame someone else. It’s too easy to over complicate life and take everything to seriously. I’ve finally learned how to see that my intentions were always the best that they could have been at any given time and it’s helped me not to shame myself for what I didn’t know in that moment. Your video gave 100% confirmation for me, thank you. 🙏
  • @TheVocalisa777
I am a newbie here, and I don’t know why this came up on my feed, except that I’m doing shadow work with a homeopath and I think I needed to hear this. Please don’t apologize for being vulnerable and authentic. It’s really good stuff.
  • Ok so now I can confirm I'm in harmony, I'm in synchronicity cuz I haven't seen Clark's video in a long time, and I'm not even getting any notifications of his videos too, just last night or today morning I thought about it out of nowhere and booom just 5 mins ago I saw his notifications after a long time...Universe works unexpectedly.
  • @teresaquinn3996
I struggle with the humor. I don't think I'm a narcissist but the narcissist trait, "lack of funny bone" always hit me raw. How can I not take upsetting things so seriously? Thx for the video. I like the way it flows.
  • @bearfoodmama
It messed up Carl Jung too. He used Kundalini yoga to navigate those encounters with his unconscious that got a little too out there. The red book has been super helpful. Thanks for this video.
  • @Dianevan.
I love this. It's exactly how I'm beginning to approach myself. From a place of compassion, as you said we're human, we get taught to behave a certain way and end up cutting parts of ourselves off. I read a book once that said " we start off as massive mansions and before we know it, we become a 2 bed terrace house, with all the parts of ourselves we hide away from everyone including ourselves. I love your take on shadow work and how you described it ❤
  • @jadenlovee458
Honestly the moment this video started playing i instantly started crying. There’s an air of authenticity and real compassion you have that’s really felt. I found myself dropping my guard and realized I had completely forgotten to have self compassion for myself during my shadow work! I can’t express how grateful I am to have stumbled across this video today… it really helped me feel a sense of relief and strength I thought I could barely attain. For that you’ll have a subscriber for life. Thank you🥰
  • Epic, well said, and you're literally the only person on the internet who presented shadow work in a way that landed with empowerment and optimism... mixed with light delivery and incredible editing... Epic man, seriously epic!
