2021-01-05に共有
Christianity is thought of as a religion of peace. But this episode reveals something different. The investigation begins with a mysterious symbol found engraved on an ancient skull. The film then discovers the same symbol on the walls of Roman army barracks and on pillars of underground churches. From Pompeii to the farthest reaches of the Empire, this episode reveals how Christianity secretly thrived within the very army that was supposed to suppress it.

  • The Roman guards stationed at the tomb after the crucifixion, at the request of Sanhedrin authorities, saw a blazing light early on the 3rd morning and then, that the great stone had been rolled away; when reporting these events to the Jewish authorities, they were bribed not to reveal what they saw . . . but they knew the truth. So, it was actually those Roman soldiers who were the 1st witnesses of the Resurrection. Thank you for uncovering this amazing evidence Simcha!
  • It’s also possible that these soldiers are not fusing invictus Solis with Jesus but hiding their faith using the acceptable forms of existing pantheon God symbols
  • @jumaris28
Make me smile to know who were those which took the risk and kept Jesus words alive . Amen 🙏🏼

This is not news. Many Roman soldiers became Christians. He knows it.The 40 Martyrs of Sabaste is just 1 example.
  • 1 thing is CERTAIN. Christianity is over 2000 years old. Amazing show to me.

The centurion was mention...Jesus healed his servant
  • Congradulations to brother Simcha. Another outstanding job. The video he did about Moses and the exodus I will never forget. He showed there how the real miracle of the plagues was to be found in Devine providence which makes the events more believable while pointing strongly to the hidden hand of God in delivering the Israelites out of Egypt.

It is entirely possible that Romans’ started believing in Jesus teachings and adopted Christianity. 300 years or so after Constantine made Christianity as their religion. It wouldn’t have been possible for the emperor do that if there wasn’t any support from the people
  • If you were a roman soldier in palestine around 33AD, you were first or second hand witness of the resurrection. The soldiers who crucified Jesus would testify to their mates that the man was dead on the cross and yet he resurrected. The roman army was the BEST spreader of the new religion, not the first jewish christians. The official conversion of the roman empire to christianity might have been a ploy to keep the support of a largely christianized army
  • This makes sense because many Soldiers in the Roman army were not all from Rome or from the Italian peninsula of that time.
  • Roman armies had sizable camp followings. Many of those people would have been Christians as well, and perhaps just as likely to bear witness to Jesus Christ and have that message received.
  • Can you update on the current status of the ancient archeology in Syria and how it has faired during the terrible events of the past few years
  • Mark 15:16-47. Key Verse 15:39 “And when the centurion who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, ‘Surely this man was the Son of God!’” When they had asked Jesus the incriminating question, “Are you the Christ?” he answered “I am”.
  • Fantastic investigative journalism...I thoroughly enjoyed the video...thanks 🙏🏼
  • @cyepez
Fascinating and quite revealing. One of my favorite documentaries by Simcha. On par with another one on ‘James the Brother of Jesus.’ Much gratitude.
  • @t8r507
    @26:49..He terrifies the rutabagas🤣🤣 🤴👻💨
  • This documentary forgets that the gospels tell of Roman soldiers believing in the 1st century after seeing Christ with their own eyes
  • This might be the most insightful video yet of the Christian era history, great work.
  • Props to Dino for helping out ✊🏽 The dream team, with another fascinating documentary!
