2 Failed MVDs, Trigeminal Neuralgia and DTR

Published 2019-04-22
Cassidy was referred to our office seeking a solution to her burning mouth and facial pain. She was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and completed 2 Microvascular Decompression surgeries (MVD) that did not offer pain relief beyond a month. She has allowed us to share her story in hopes that it helps others. Could the bite (or occlusion) be so significant and elusive that scores of providers miss the cause? BioMetric measurement with TScan and BioResearch reveal data that cannot be observed any other way. Thank you to Cassidy and her family for allowing me to share the journey with others that suffer.

I cried with this. I know and understand the fear of someone touching your face. I suffer with TN1 since 2013. One of the most undesirable pains. It feels like you are chewing on a live electrical cord. Bless you for giving her a life again. What a beautiful story.

It's good she has somebody who understands how bad this disease is. All i have had in the last 12 years was arrogance. I have been in bed all day everyday for 7 years, been suffering for 12. Family just seen me as lazy, being a victim etc. I have those migraine symptoms every 5 minutes, i have tension headaches all day, facial pain. I'm on the max lyrica, 400mg tegretol, somac. I also have nerve pain in arms, legs, back, chest. Sometimes when it's intense, i get burning nerve pain in my whole body. I also have Fibromyalgia, which is the fatigue, aching etc. Crazy thing is, after 12 years, they still haven't put me on disabilities. It just never ends. I'm seeing a neurosurgeon but i have been waiting for over 2 months to see a neurology team, would be a different world having money. I have lived with my dad for 8 years, was told repeatedly about my situation, but due to arrogant, he refused to even look it up, just kept saying i was lazy. Older brother kept telling me not to be a victim and oh, you will be fine just drink some alcohol. The first year of all this nearly killed me. I went through, panic attacks, anxiety, mind went through so much anxiety, i had the detachment reality symptom. I slept on the floor for 6 months, i had severe depression, suicide thoughts, it was brutal. All i got was arrogance, no help, just arrogance. My mum was just the same. Surprisingly i'm still alive. I would act like i was fine. Nobody understood, or even wanted to understand. These days i ignore symptoms that would drop the strongest person. The migraines now cause blindness, dizziness, squeezing tension headaches, etc. I'm so tired of fighting. The only thing that has kept me alive for the past 10 years, is my cat blue. This disease is brutal, ppl need understanding, which is really difficult to get for some people. Only now my family has realised how severe my situation is, only because i have mentioned surgery. Pretty much 12 years too late.

This little gal is so amazing and I also cried through the video with great compassion for her. I now rejoice in her new found relief of pain. I have a very dear friend who also suffers from this and has for several years and I am praying for her healing. I am going to share this video with her also.

I have been suffering for a few years. i lost my job and the only reason i have not "checked out" is my family and new grandson. i am 47 and have a solid plan to check out. losing my job means losing my insurance. i sit here at 2:40 A.M. in my garage to not wake my family with crying and screaming. I have lived, but this should not happen t. a young person, if i could i would take your pain in an instant. we NEED to find the cause, not just the cure as it does not work for everyone.
  • God bless this doctor. I just wanna shake his hand and chat over coffee

Poor young thing. Suffering with this is hell on earth. It can’t be described. It cannot be endured. It’s like dying every time it happens.

Aww, I feel sooo bad for her, this made me cry almost worse than I ever have in my entire life. I do not think you understand what a gift, what a miracle you are!!!! To people who have this condition as well as TMJ etc. People like my friend in Texas and this poor girl Cassady, have had their mental and physical health as well as their lives stolen from them.... You restore it and give them back their lives, in a better way. You do it while being humble and a sweetheart of a man. That can only come directly from God. You are a solider of God, you work for God. You are an absolute angel you are Dr. Sutter, God really used you well💕🎉😊 I can't wait to get your therapy, shake your hand and just say thank you for all that you have done and continue to do in order to help people's health be restored!! When it has been robbed /stolen from them and not helped with the medical industry. Thanl you for providing "REAL HEALTH CARE."😎

I’m so grateful for you Ms Cassidy and Dr Sutter for sharing this very important information. I was diagnosed in 2019, went to a dentist who may have corrected my bite and said this may work for a while and it did. Just two weeks ago it came back giving me back to back attacks in the middle of the night.I have an apt with a certified DTR specialist this Saturday because of this video. I want to mention that I will be documenting my experience and tagging you because you are truly angels among us and the world deserves to know. Unfortunately I find too many times in western medicine that it’s more important for doctors to be right instead of doing the right thing. It’s so refreshing to finally see true health care at its very best 💖 To say I’m grateful is an understatement💖
  • @TiaraRoyal33

  • Such a great video. It had me in tears a few times. I sure hope she is still doing well
  • @drummerjosh1984
God bless you. I have ATN, before I was diagnosed this type of work is actually the first thing I did. Sadly my pain returned months later. I did not have a precipitating event like her. I hope she continues to have improvement and a beautiful life. We need more people to be as sensitive and caring as you.

I had TN1 I had a mri last week. It says Tn2. I understand how this girl feels. They call it the not so nice disease. I pray she will get better one day. I see this video is a long time ago ❤❤

I come in to see you January 6th and I can’t tell if I’m losing sleep over the pain or pure excitement to be a case like Cassidy!
  • @octoberdawn1087
I have tn and nueralgia in my tongue for 2 years from wisdom teeth surgery that is didnt need, also painful dry mouth. My heart breaks for her. So many of us out there. Hers is so extreme. 😭 I'm so sorry!!!
  • @sebeazzurri
What an incredible journey! Im so happy to see that things have improved so much.
  • @susanf7461
Cassidy looks like a completely different person. God bless all of you.
  • I'm a TN survivor and an RN at the same time but did the natural but powerful approach. I just hope that she is forever recovered. Mercury is one of the reasons that can cause TN after filling gets drilled in the mouth. I heard people get relieved from this disease but after few years it comes back. You gotta go down to the root cause of the disease itself.
  • @Tilr701
Doc you are so kind! I am so happy for the girl. 😍😍😍
