  • Why is there a 1 minute limit on inquiries? The attempts are recorded in time, and if they found that she did in fact complete it correctly (enough), then why would it matter?
  • OKAY TO EVERYONE ROMANIAN OR NOT, Jordan’s score was 13.666 at first until the judges changed it four seconds after the minute mark, which her score ended being 13.766 and the Romanians having 13.700 so honestly the real problem here is the judges, if they would have done their job right none of this would have happened
  • So it comes down the judges not doing their job properly. So to be fair to both athletes they both should get the bronze medal because both the athletes had legitimate inquiries and should not be penalize because of tactically that judges should have know about.

This is ridiculous!! None of this would even be an issue if the judges had done what they were supposed to do!!!! If they had given Jordan credit for each element she did that contributed to the difficulty of her routine, this would NOT have happened. The coach submitted the inquiry 4 seconds after the one minute deadline, and that is outside of the rules....I understand that, but why is NOBODY addressing the inappropriate scoring by the judges? How are they being held accountable for their role in the huge mess they made? THAT is the real issue here!! Now, there are two young ladies who have been emotionally impacted by their incompetence. The Romanian gymnast was devastated when they took the medal from her and gave it to Jordan. Now, Jordan is devastated because they are taking the bronze medal from her and giving it back to the Romanian gymnast. ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED! 🤨 Good grief!! DO YOUR JOB, JUDGES, OR STEP DOWN!!!! 😠

The Romanian girl was also misjudged, the judges depuncted her by saying that she had her foot outside the line, which her coach had proof that it wasn't the case. When she tried to talk to the judges they didn't change her score, then why should they change it to Jordan Chiles?
  • @urdnaxela1
Failed robbery attempt !😂Still we are waiting for proof that Sabrina stepped over the square They can't explain why they cut points from the score and they can't offer one single proof That says EVERYTHING! At least they gave it to ANA

There is just craziness everywhere. There are rules for a reason, fairness to all.
  • Unless the IOC and FIG make a drastic change on their stance, Jordan won't lose her medal.... the CAS actually recommended that both Romanians (who had equal points) should ALSO get Bronze medals and Jordan should keep hers as well (in other words, 3 Bronze medallists). Whilst people might think that Chiles shouldn't have been upgraded and that Ana & Sabrina should have medalled, there is absolutely no justification for the revolting (often racist) personal attacks on Chiles since then... her and Biles showed grace and comradery with other non-US gymnasts by bowing down on the podium to Rebeca Andrade for her Gold medal win. People should show her the same respect with their opinions, without degrading themselves to horrific personal attacks.

Her change in score was based on the difficulty not execution. That’s why her coaches made the inquiry. This is the judges fault, her difficulty score should have been corrected in the first place so the inquiry did not need to be made.
  • @d.n.8919
Also note that Chiles was last to go, meaning that she had less time to submit an inquiry than the gymnasts who had gone before her. All the athletes should have the same amount of time to submit the inquiry

Well said, give the medal 🥉 😊😊to the right Girl 👧.........
  • @Sinloco
Rules are rules. We can’t be changing outcomes bcuz someone’s feelings are hurt. Take the bronze medal back.
  • Jordan's exercise had more athleticism its gymnastics not ballet.
  • @feligv729
She shouldn't have been mis-scored to begin with. Romanians are pushing for a technicality.
  • @ClassyCurves
So basically, the judges helped Ana get the Bronze. She didn’t actually earn it. Hmmm 🤔 , I wonder why? This narrative is getting so old. Just accept that you weren’t 3rd best on that day. Trying to claim an award based on a 4 second technicality that has nothing to do with actual talent is pretty pathetic.
