āThe sun canāt shine if the rains donāt pass by.ā Thatās a great line. Itās a great song. It gives us a lot to think about. Briarlight had a hard time with her broken spine, that was undeniable, but it did not stop her. She was very sad for some time but then she realized that even though her legs did not work did not mean that she couldnāt be happy. She had many cats who cared about her, plenty of food, and good health. She learned that focusing on the good in life was better than complaining about the bad. We all have our challenges in life, but we will get through them. I love that line because it has a poetic way of saying that. Also, if we see something unjust we should do something about it. We must always do our best and remember what we are grateful for. Blixemi, you have created a wonderful song with a wonderful message, you truly have a special gift.

Okay I'm actually crying.... Not only is this song absolutely touching, But Briar had one of the hardest lives of any cat. Not only was she crippled, she wasn't even able to become a medicine cat... So she was like a nothing in the clan, and yet she was so full of joy and gleeful... And also, she dies... I know she''s just fictional, but I had always thought that thing would get better for her before she died... But no...

I feel Briarlight is an inspiration to people in real life. She had one of the hardest lives physical wise in warrior cats. She shows to people to never give up. Although she went through a time of doubt, she kept pushing on and was an inspiration to all cats around her. Her name really did fit her, she was a light to cats all around her.
