Yet again, Universal started a whole new race in theme park experiences in the US. Hopefully, both Disney and Universal keep this going for the coming decade, and so. Win win for the guest, other than these upped prices šŸ˜‚.

That concept art looks like a coaster made of thorns and Maleficent actively breathing fire šŸ˜±
  • The Hong Kong Spider-Man is very much Tower of Terror. The seating arrangement in the ride vehicle matches up perfectly, and the white plate in front is clearly the sliding door guests enter the vehicle through. Iā€™m actually shocked theyā€™re still using this ride system but Iā€™m happy to see it implemented.

10:25 Coco artwork looks like the Epcot Mexico Pavilion artwork they were using for the old rumored Three amigos boatride conversion, even has the stage with the 3 characters!

Jack, youā€™re a real one for staying up all night and creating and uploading this by this morning. šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»

I really like how all of the announcements were large-scale attractions that are NOT clones in any way. They could have easily done that for Indy, Cars, Avatar, and Marvel, but they didn't. Now we get to see what else they can do with those franchises while still giving each park more own unique draws.

It's Tough to be a Bug is brilliant in so many ways. Being a film, they could have simply introduced new insects every so often.
  • I so want their announcements to have weight behind them, but they have a history making promises and not deliveringā€¦ either by cancelling projects or delivering way less than what was shown ( festival pavilion). šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Iā€™m a huge disney fan and am not a hater but this leadership has let me down too much. Villains land will be a meet and greet, 10 merch shops, a restaurant and a short dark ride with screens.
  • Excited for Villian's Land, just hope they don't get rid of Rivers of America or the Liberty Square Rverboat.

Latest technology will empower Imagineering to create a Walt animatronic who smokes, just like the real Walt.

What WASNT mentioned at D23: no Epcot Spaceship Earth attraction refurbishment, no Epcot Wonders of Life shuttered pavilion information, no Epcot Journey into Imagination update, no Epcot World Showcase updates of any kind, no Disneyland Tomorrowland or People Mover mentions at all, no Star Tours update
  • @isaaccooper505
The whole sequence before and including the announcement of villains land was so hype

I remember rumors of a villains land 20 years ago when I was a little teenage gremlin on the Micechat/WDWMagic forums. It's crazy to see it finally not only acknowledged by the company but actually greenlit. I thought it was going to be my Winds of Winter.

I've been burned by Disney announcements so many times- I'll believe these things are coming when they go vertical.
  • @jaredcobb5909
Villains and monsters Inc coaster will be the two best additions!
  • @RetroFett
9:45 Stark Flight looks like they are just reusing the old Epcot Innonventions Sum of All Thrills stationary attraction
  • @musicalfreak49
As soon as I saw that Walt animatronic, my first reaction was damnnnnn, he called it, DSNY cracked it!!
  • Looks like Maleficent was generous enough to start a kingdom for every one of the Disney Villains and the table with the head of Snake Jafar can move into it. Dark thrones for the Evil Queen, the Queen of Hearts, Princes John and Hans, Scar and King Magnifico can be summoned, Kaa will look stuffed after a lucky giant meal and Hook might find his hand again.
