LEGO Star Wars 75366 ADVENT CALENDAR Review! (2023)

The 2023 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar is mid. In a good way. We have new holiday EWOK & EMPEROR PALPATINE Minifigures, fun builds like a STAP for your Battle Droid, Micro Clone Turbo Tank, Micro Mandalorian N-1, & more! But on the other end LEGO once again included an awful Clone Trooper with the 212th making an unfortunate appearance. LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendars are fun for the holidays and this will be no exception.

  • The justifier build is making me want a Christmas Sweater Cad Bane. That would truly be aweome
  • @crazydog1750
Fun fact: It’s actually cheaper to army build 212th via the advent calendar than via the AT-TE. With the advent calendar you’re saving about $1.67 per clone trooper.
  • That Christmas ewok is everything to me. Literally any Ewoks, Wookies, or Mos Eisley minifigures are an insta-buy for me.
  • This is probably the first time in a while where most don't mind getting an extra Battle Droid because of the STAP speeder. Otherwise, not one of the better advent calendars

3 things are certain in life: Death, Taxes, and a Battle Droid in the Advent Calendar
  • Interesting that there are no Jedi or sith with a lightsaber this year. Not that I necessarily need another lightsaber, but it’s a change I didn’t expect.

JB is so awesome! They’re doing so much for the Lego community. They have special AFOL days and other events. Currently they’re building the galactic senate inside their store in minifig scale. Everyone can come in and ad a pod with Minifigs you can assemble yourself. They offer custom Minifigs and special vignettes for display. Very cool store! Sadly I live too far away to visit them more often…

Roger making it up the ranks as one of the best minifigures, already better than a Clone Trooper and Leia 💀
  • @Brickpigs
this is annoying how lego STILL refuses to fix the misprints and helmet holes
  • I like this one, flawed but good. Still holding out hope for a Christmas printed Commando Droid and Clone Trooper, that would be awesome.
  • I love that cute white-furred snowman inspired Christmas Ewok with the orange nose and the green hood!
  • Okay the holes DO belong there like on the old Phase 1 clones. But it belongs lower on the helmet not higher. I personally like the customization it brings such as visors, rangefinders and ect since it wasn’t restricted to Captain’s and Commanders
  • I always picture a Star Wars Christmas where the magic and spirit of the season melt Darth Vader's and Emperor Palpatine's cold, dead hearts and they suddenly become friendly and shower the Ewoks and other oppressed beings of the galaxy with presents, and Palpatine becomes like reformed Scrooge. Darth quits the Sith business and just manages a stall at the farmer's market on the Wookie planet.

Shame we can’t get a well printed 212th for Christmas :(
  • Does that star destroyer build go along with the Executor set? And it would have been nice if the Endor bunker could have been a complete build with maybe some green parts around it.

Ryan casually reviewing a set 1 1/2 months before it releases

It’s an odd day when M&R is reviewing 2023 advent calendars, and Amazon is still trying to offload the 2022 advent calendars! 😊
  • Double VIP or Costco/Walmart deal will be the way to go. I’ve wanted Omega so pretty pumped. The builds look to have decent parts to add into collection which is a nice bonus
