SUMMER COTTAGE GARDEN TOUR // JULY 2024 HOBBY HOME GARDEN // CHARLOTTE GROVE FARMHOUSE

Publicado 2024-07-19
Hello, sweet friends and welcome to a summer garden tour. In this video, we are walking through the yard to see how things are coming along as we work our way through this super hot summer. I am loving how everything is looking and I hope you do, too. Remember, this is my hobby garden and I have no idea what I am doing, but that doesn't matter when you're having fun! Thanks for watching! XO - Tiffany

Your yard and home is so cozy and inviting. I love the way you're nestled along the woods and the entrance and long driveway is so nice. You and your family are such a joy and I enjoy your company so much. Wish you were my neighbor 🩷

I was a beginner, Gardner, about 36 years ago. You will have ups and downs with choices you make to your garden. My plan was to sketch the area I wanted to work on first. It worked for me Now, all these years later, I not only landscaped my whole yard, I have helped others do the same to their spaces. We lived on a corner lot and people take their walks so they can see our gardens. I even have one lady that sits on our swing just so she can enjoy the flowers. So my advice preserve, keep going. Some plants you will move around your yard till it finds a place it wants to be. Have fun it can be very rewarding. God Bless

Wow!!!! I can’t believe what you guys have done with your home. It’s truly incredible! I can’t believe you built those pergolas by yourself! Fantastic!!
  • This is my 3rd yr. as a gardener and I'm older than you, and, I really don't know what I'm doing either. But it's such fun! In CA my husband took care of the garden. Now on our 80 acres in WI, he does so many other things that it was up to me.. This property is over 90 yrs. so you think there would have been a type of garden, but, no. I'm proud that I can tell a weed from a plant now, so that's progress! LOL! I have 8 flower gardens plus 67 containers of plants/flowers that I take care of all w/a injured knee, a stress fracture plus a meniscus root tear. Nightmare pain. Your garden is beautiful, Tiffany. I only plant perennials in the ground, thus, it's why I have my all flower containers.

Oh I love everything about this. I live in Arizona, so my garden looks very different. It is really fun to see what gardening in NE looks like. ❤

I have been looking forward to this Tiffany and enjoyed every minute! What a beautiful job you guys have done over the last 3 years! I love to garden and have been working with my husband on our landscaping for the last 30 years, so I can really appreciate how much work it is. The only way I have really found to keep the big hydrangea bushes up is to stake them to a sturdy pole in the back before they bloom and tie the branches to it. Once in full bloom, you won't see the pole or ties anymore. 💗💮💗

Absolutely gorgeous Tiffany! So relaxing and definitely give’s cottage vibes. We have a lot of Hostas and Hydrangeas as well. I love them. This year my husband bought some Hydrangea cages off Amazon. They are really helping with the drooping. Thank you for the beautiful tour of your gardens.

Hi Tiffany, as I said before your home and garden should be in a magazine! I remember the video of you guys walking up the dirt road to see the piece of property where the house was going to be built. You and Danny should be proud of yourselves to what you have accomplished! Have a great weekend!
