Why Was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 SO MEDIOCRE?!

This game is definitely divisive. At the time it came out, I really didn't like it but now I have been enjoying the game so much, in fact I tried going back to play Black Ops 4 multiplayer and couldn't finish a match because the maps and gameplay are so boring to me now. Idk man, I'm very mixed on Modern Warfare 3 so don't take it the wrong way if you think I'm too harsh on it. Makarov imo is actually the best COD villain. He's the ONLY one who's actually scary and makes you want too kill him in the end. Shepherd came close but it was more the betrayal and murder of ghost that made it so brutually sad but I think makrov does a good job at being the actual big bad guy. Adored his voice acting. And that ending oof. It's never felt so satisfying getting revenge in a video game

After seeing the MW3 2023 campaign, the original MW3 is no longer mediocre! 🤣

I remember this one infected match I had where we couldn’t find the last guy. Felt like ages before the clock ran out. Turns out the guy was in a ghillie suit lying down in the middle of the map, I ran past him like 20 times.

People be like: "Mw2 was amazing" Then say: "Mw3 is bad because it was too similar to mw2" 8 years later: "We want the old cod back" My point is, mw3 being similar to mw2 isn't a bad thing, it's a good thing

Isn’t it crazy how one conflict completely changes the believability of a faction in a game

It’s genuinely surprising that this game was so hated at launch. I was one of the players that started playing COD with this game and black ops way before I even had proper internet. I remember playing the campaign over and over again because of how exciting it was. And maxing out spec ops long before I could even touch multiplayer. This game will always hold a special place in my heart

Modern Warfare 3 wasn't mediocre, it was simply amazing. Critics were right for loving it.

Coming back to this after MWIII ('23) "Perhaps I've judged you too harshly."
