  • TWO PLACES: The Maui Tropical Plantation and The Sugar Museum are two places worthy of your visit when on Maui. If you're looking for something to do while waiting for your late flight at OGG, consider one or both of these places. They're both near the Kahului Airport.
  • Just watched this video now. Beautiful quality. We have visited the Tropical Plantation a few times. Little grand kids enjoyed it. Love walking around admiring all the colourful Tropical plants. Beautiful place. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks again Steve. We just returned and had a great time. Whales everywhere and some fantastic meals!
  • Thanks for the video. Beautiful place. I always stop by when we vacation in Maui. They use to have two monkeys on property named Carlos and Santana. LOL. The resturant is great and the view is incredible.

Just got out of hospital. Steve has cheered me up no end! 😁 I will be getting on that plane in August by hook or by crook! Cheers for another enjoyable video!

That beautiful video Steve. Thank you share an idea!

Tropical Plantation, looks really cool place to check out. Mill house for sure!!
  • @JohnO318
I remember going to the Mill House once in the early 90s. I was tagging along with a friend who had a business event of some kind if memory serves me correctly. I also remember seeing that Sugar Mill equipment in operation when I lived on Maui during the first half of the 90s. In 1990 I drove tourists to the top of Haleakala for a living and saw many cane fires from way up there. .
  • Beautiful... wish we would’ve had time to go there. Maybe next visit. Great job on the video as always!
  • @napili5470
Aloha Steve, Good video. The Tropical Plantation is a pretty neat place. I haven't been there for right about 25 years. It was nice then and looks even nicer now. Some new additions, the restaurant, the bar, and coffee store. The sugar cane museum looks like a nice place to visit. You might actually learn something there. I'll bet a lot of millennial tourists don't have a clue about how these islands use to look like when sugar was king. One of my favorite swimming beaches was walking through a sugar cane field to the beach. Now it is a timeshare hotel at Ka' Kaanapali beach North between Kahekili beach and Dukes Beach House. It use to be the only thing You saw was the Embassy Hotel down the beach about a half-mile or so. Aloha til next time.
  • @BeBodacious
Beautiful and interesting locations. I like your suggestions about coming to the plantation and sugar museum. Looks like a good place for gifts. Your edit work is very nice. May I ask what software you are using?
  • Looks great! I think we’ll try the Mill House soon. Your tips haven’t steered us wrong yet. Thanks. Did you say something about ATV rides?
  • Great video! Do you have to make a reservation to enter to the Maui Tropical Plantation? Thank you!
  • You should put a black outline around the text in your thumbnails it will make it a lot easier to read them.
