I’ve never been a Bama fan or an Eagles fan but I’ve always been a Jalen Hurts fan. He’s a special kid, I hope he gets a Super Bowl ring.

Not gonna lie, as an Eagles fan, I hated the 2nd round pick for him and I hated them benching Wentz for him. But after watching Wentz turned into a glass puss, I gained an appreciation for Hurts' attitude and mentality. Still didn't think nor want him as the starter because everyone kept saying he couldn't throw. Now watching him work hard and constantly improve, I'm so happy I was wrong.

Coolest part of his story was even after losing the starting spot to Tua he stayed on for the season and ended up replacing Tua in the 2nd half against Georgia to lead the Tide to a comeback win. The same game he was benched on a year earlier. Crazy respect for his heart.

I followed his career since Alabama and Oklahoma even though I'm not a fan of Alabama and Oklahoma!!! I 🖤 #1 JH!!! Hurts has a top tier work ethic. He worked with people this past offseason who helped clean up his throwing motion and improve his deep ball. His completion percentage jumped from 62% to 68% in just one season. He’s a true professional and I have a ton of respect for the guy.

It was really hard for me to see nick get traded and then Carson be on the bench at first. But Ultimately nick and Carson did their job and got us to the superbowl then the win. Esp over Brady, Edelman and gronk. Their job ended and Jalens started and damn has he gone above and beyond to prove himself. Not even as just a quarterback, dudes a beast of a runner and can tell he’s a great leader!! Can’t wait for tomorrows game against SF. Gonna be one hell of a game!! Let’s go eagles!!
