When do YOU think LEGO will be done with the 2020 style Clone Trooper? Comment below! ALSO remember to leave a like, make sure you are SUBBED and enter the giveaway in yesterdays video! (The 8th)
  • With the popularity of clones the past 3 years, I can't imagine they can be profitable without us army builders
  • @kneza3411
Would love some more bad batch based sets, TK troopers and clone commandos would be a fantastic addition
  • @MarvinMcCaster
Well, it was fun getting all of these clone battlepacks. I’d love to see battlepacks focused on stormtrooper legions or maybe even Rebel troopers like Endor.
  • I feel like they would change the style around 2026 or 2027, I would love some new phase 1 designs too though.
  • @MarineBricks
I honestly think LEGO sees the opportunity in the hype for clone troopers and with 20 years for ROTS coming up we could see new clones like the kasshyyk clones using the scout trooper helmet, or some other P2 types.
  • @tomgill7506
There is no way possible that they would scrap clones for a period of time like that. No other era of star wars brings the fan base, and excitement that clones do. They would literally be flushing money away.
  • @Nic9458
I’m praying we see Lego reuse the arc trooper helmet mold from 2012 and also the 501st p2 closed pilot helmet mold from the z95 headhunter in some new 2025 sets. They are some of the best official clone helmets imo and I can’t believe they haven’t used them in other sets since their release
  • @leppyslego8587
I think I agree with the gap with one exception: I believe LEGO will use clones as a crutch and if they start losing sales the higher ups will push out another battlepack~ especially if this new clone vs droid battlepack sells anywhere close the OG 501st bp ~
  • If they were to not release any clones for a 5 year period I’d want one last army builder battle pack with a clone from 4 different legions in the 2020 style: 41st, 327th, Wolfpack, and 91st mobile recon just so we could have all the big units in the same style mold
  • @DylanDalal
I'm fine with one or two clone sets every year, because I think it is getting a little excessive (one Andor set??). I think it would be crazy for them to stop doing them for so long, and they're clearly making a lot of money from them, so I actually don't think they will. But I definitely expect a slowdown
  • @Green4Kareen
If hes right about the 5 year gap, LEGO better give us a banger run for RotS
  • I think we just crave a light dusting of clones every year If we got a set like 40558 every year with different clones we would be happy! Because your right I don't want to miss out on OT sets if we are always getting clone sets!
  • @nihili4196
Do they really have to change current style so soon? People want more legions, people want more CIS sets, we still haven't had things like clone pilots in current style, we need Grievous with Magna Guards, there is so much that could be done, sets are selling well, even ones that aren't as well regarded as 501st mega pack, and you think Lego would just put it all on break, just to rework something that doesn't really affect the sales? I honestly don't see them stopping with clones for next few years. Slowing down, yes. But not stopping. I feel like you're just personally bored by current design of clones mainly because you sit in Lego Star wars way more than average fan even, let alone more casual consumer. I can honestly see current clone style staying all the way up to 2027 or 8, maybe with minimal visual changes. Because like, we've just got new B2s, tall legs unlock so many figures, we've got Fives... 332nd battlepack was perfect moment to slow the roll, introduce maybe two or three more sets and go on a break, why then would Lego go on a roll again in such perfect moment to slow down? If Lego were to stop now, i would honestly question their business plan. I honestly feel like Lego might keep the clones in the background as a safeguard, just in case new content won't be as much of a hit as Disney is hoping for. But then again, I'm very bias and I'm here exclusively to collect clones and droids, i don't really care about OT or especially new stuff that's coming out.
  • I hope that if they stop with clone troopers for a while, hopefully they shift the spotlight to the droids, they really don’t get enough love from lego
  • There will be clone sets in 2025 and beyond. Simply because the fans that will be buying Lego will be the age to want expensive UCS clone sets if anything or more so sprinkling in. Because the whole OT sets that are included every year are the ones that will be phased out to be less and less each year as that primary fan base will be aged out. So Clone sets will be throughout the future each year if anything at the minimum one set.
  • @PapaRex7567
Spot on @LifeBricks! After the UCS gunship, Clone pack, Fighter tank, AT-TE, multiple 501 battle packs, another gunship, Venator, super BP Lego knows clones sell. Enough data collected & Lego loves $$$ so they will keep producing clone sets IMO. Keep up the good work!
  • @NoahMiller-zv5kg
I wish that Lego would make a new republic attack shuttle. They could for the bad batch show, they used that shuttle all the time in that show. They could have included 1 clone pilot, 2 phase 2 clone troopers and something new like a clone commando which would the set even more popular
  • @Mr_G_Daddy
The helmet holes don’t disappoint me at all compared to the updated stormtrooper helmet. It just looks strange especially since most people will already have the older helmet designs which makes army building harder. You either stick to the old or buy the new in most cases.
