You are so encouraging! Your video just popped up on my feed, and this was perfect. Speaking of God sending Manna I would like to share my story with that. Many years ago, we were at that month end, trying to stretch what we had waiting for the next check and several little ones to feed. I am a migraine sufferer and I had a bad one, one of my kids came in the house and said "Dad said to make lunch" we had some leftovers but the thought of smelling them made me queasy and I remember praying (more moaning) God, I don't even have bread to make my kids PB&J. I drug myself to our kitchen and looked outside as a truck pulled up and I thought "I don't want to deal with people today". Turns out it was my husbands uncle. His aunt worked at a grocery store and they were throwing out all the day old bread - we were blessed with over 30 loaves of "manna" that day. And every time I think we are short I remember how God blessed us that day, and everyday since.
  • So true! It can be hard to be content with social media! I think I try to remember that SM shares small glimpses of someone's life, rather than the whole picture. We recently took a little camping trip, and we never have before! It was our first time and thankfully very affordable but we did have to save to make it happen. Sometimes though we see people with big houses, nice cars etc and they are struggling in debt, or drowning in a career they aren't even content with in order to have those things. Things are just not always as they seem. I think that is why we need to keep our eyes on Jesus. I've heard a variation of what your MIL says, "Jesus provides our needs, not our greeds!" It is so true! Great video & topic friend. There is a season for everything! ❤
  • Hi Amanda. Your video just popped up on my feed. And I'm so glad it did! How refreshingly encouraging! I truly appreciate you sharing a devotional and scripture at the start of the video. Thank you for the encouragement. I pray your needs are meet for your family in the most unexpected way!

I am so blessed to find your post I can relate to you.
  • Hey Amanda I love your encouragement so much! This video is full of truth and I appreciate you for sharing! You are such a blessing ❤️. So many times God has sustained my family as well and its so good to know He's a provider 🙌. One thing God's word has shown me is that we're all not given the path of riches. Some of us given a harder path than others. But God is still God no matter what! I've been in both situations... not quite rich....lol... but financially comfortable and I've been so broke I didn't have a dime. In both situations the Lord was there being faithful! I love you sister...see ya soon 😊
  • I can relate to this so much. Thank you for sharing this devotional ❤ comparison is something that is challenging with social media.

Hello sweet Amanda. Yes, God is faithful and God is good. You know I was wondering the other day about some Christians havin more than others, and your devotional has reminded me of that wondering. God does work in mysterious was and the thought came to me … Just as God knew what generation we all were to be born into, He also knows what to bless us with. I used to say that if money would make me greedy, I hoped that I wouldn’t have a lot of money. Well. I ain’t got a lot of money and I feel like if I did, I would probably be greedy and greed is not going to enter heaven. I think this is God’s way of lookin out for his children. He knows what we can handle and what we can’t, and he certainly isn’t gonna give us something that will cause us to sin or something that will harm us down the road somewhere. I been wantin to do a bit of work on this mobile home I live in, and I have talked to God about it in the past. But so far it hasn’t happened and I think it’s either because it’s not time yet or it’s not God’s will for some reason. So I will try to be patient and wait on the Lord. The things I want to do here isn’t a need, it’s a want. So if it never happens, then I want to accept it and be content with what God has already blessed me with. God is good all the time and I want his will to be done in my life. Thank you for another video and devotional sweet sister. May God continue to bless you and your precious family. ❤️❤️❤️
  • I highly recommend turning off the water while you scrub your plates. It’s better for the times we are living in now( with droughts and everything) 🤗
