My niece was burned out in Paradise a few years ago and is once again under evacuation notice. That poor gal has such obvious PTSD from the first event and the panic in her voice now just breaks my heart. That whole area is a tinder box this time of year. Please be safe.
  • My former home area! Fire was a big reason we left California! Many other as well, but fire #1. Prayers for Butte County ❤

I was part of the media and was there at the Paradise fire a few years ago, and you can't really imagine the destruction, I'd never seen anything like it in my life. It literally melted the wheels and bodies of cars into puddles on the ground. You know how hot it has to be for that to happen. Even parts the didn't get touched were twisted & warped by the heat. Once the wind gets a hold of fire it's like a blowtorch. If you live up there please be safe and evacuate immediately if they give the word, you can rebuild most things but not your family or friends.

CA had a lot of rain last year and will have so much fuel to be burned this summer 😞

Gd bless our firefighters — they are our heros 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻💙👍🏻💙
  • Those above ground propane storage tanks are very unstable and when they go off no one can be around the buildings. I imagine if they were underground like they are in Californias hospitals this might not be so dangerous.

What’s the arsonist’s motive? Does he think it’s purely fun to light stuff up? is he mentally ill? Or is he wanting to light stuff up on purpose to destroy?
  • 1:55 A woman returns to her home which is completely destroyed. However, none of the trees, bushes or even fallen leaves on the ground have been burned. Everything looks green and normal. Amazing how selective a wildfire can be!

All the best too everyone with the fires and recovery ✝️ God bless everyone all our days ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
  • I think the guy wanted to fake his death by burning his car and pushing it over the cliff as he allegedly has a child molestation charge against him. My nephew is evacuating along with his neighbors.

I was a local media personality during the Camp Fire and I still haven't recovered from covering that and the Carr Fire in nearby Redding, That started in July of 2018. It's so scary to watch this happen again. Those firefighters are the best of us, thanks to them. Yall stay safe out there, these fires are moody and dangerous.
  • This issue is everywhere ,.. forest lands are a fuel mess, poor management , we have homeless people , we need to make use of them to save our lands
