My Honest Thoughts on the Cancelled Adventures of Thomas Movie

I'm not really sure what to make of this film being cancelled, but I'm now inspired to do my own concept art style edits of it.

Let’s hope the Mar Foster movie will stay more true to the original series

So basically this movie is "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" meets "Sonic Forces". In other words thank God it never came to pass.

I would have loved to see this movie! I see it's problems but it still would've brought more people into the Thomas fandom and this film shows that while Thomas is aimed more at kids. This movie shows that that's not always the case. And I hope the Marc Forster film will go well.

Truthfully, I feel this version of the story wouldn't be received well especially the way they were going to design the engines. Not only that I also feel It's a little similar to magic railroad's story, but hey it's an early version of the story.

I already did cover this topic on my own video and I already know how I felt about it. But hey, if there's one thing I can say that I do like about this cancelled movie is that visually, it does look nice. Sure, the mechanical faces can be iffy in most areas, but I do like on how they want to make the engines look like their counterpart they're based on. So, maybe with the Marc Forster movie that's in the works, maybe they could repurpose some ideas they had with this. Like as much as I love seeing the engines in the TV show, I'd love to see them as their engine counterparts they're based on. But hey, I explained all of that in my own video about this topic, so I won't bother repeating myself. And hey, for us Thomas content creators, maybe repurpose and rework some of the new characters that would make them more interesting, including the movie's villain, Smoke. I bet with much more development, he would've given Diesel 10 a run for his money, or in this case, a run for his claw. ;)

6:18 Oh yeah speaking of that disgrace, have you heard about Donald appearing in Season 4? I’m serious. Mattel made a Pinterest page with his design leaked out in the open for all to see. God, I hate living in this stupid dimension.

I think if someone out there like the ones who make my little pony friendship is magic they would redo the full thing and the show, just show they can give the fans what they want, and I think this movie would have been a 4.5 out of 10

I honestly don't like the idea of the engines having mechanical faces instead of grey faces.

I actually think it would’ve worked better if it was about different talking trains with references to T&F, but not with T&F itself. It’s because it just doesn’t look right to me with cartoony faces on realistic designs. I actually prefer Magic Railroad over this

Everything about this honestly just sounds like TATMR 0.5 Like, this was before the original one it seems like. Would I still give it a chance if possible? Yes. Only because I like the idea of live action with Thomas characters. Which was one of my favorite things about TATMR.

If we got a Thomas movie that good place in WWII, that would actually be pretty cool, but I can kind of see younger kids being scared by it.

Hey Trevor great job on looking at the cancelled live action Thomas movie shame that this didn’t happen it looked to have potential and a good storyline but since Mattel’s decision to reboot the show I’m glad that it was canceled because who knows how it might have turned out thanks for this and hope you’re feeling better after your surgery 👍💙🚂

idk I'm mixed I think this movie had potential but I think it would've just been Magic Railroad all over again though Smoke seems very interesting and I think should appear in future Thomas content whenever AEG gets cancelled also hope your recovering from surgery well dude and take care.
