The NEW Qatar Airways FIRST CLASS *Private Luxury*

Come with me onboard Qatar Airway newest First Class offering. In recent years Qatar offered their First Class suite onboard their A380… but given that these are grounded what does flying First Class with them look like today? Well I’ve come over to Doha Qatar to find out just that. I’ll be taking a look inside the newly reopened and refreshed Al Safwa lounge in Hamad International airport, sample them premium restaurant standard food / beverage as well as indulge in the in lounge spa. Yes there’s a hot tub!
If this isn’t enough I’ll be driven to my plane in a luxury Audi, privately across the tarmac to my waiting Boeing 787 Dreamliner. I’m also in 1A today, my seat of choice on such configuration. Yes it’s near the galley but given the heavy curtains, and that this is a day flight I’m not bothered. It also means you’ll get served first, which is always a bonus.

I recently flew Qatar on A350s between the US and Doha, 787s between Doha and my destination in Africa. The 787 you were in looked the same as the 787s I was in, so it looks like a first class price for a business class seat, a nicer lounge, and a ride to your plane. As great as the lounge service seems, I think I'd rather fly business class.

This is not their new first class. This is their old business class product, albeit sold as "first class" on intra-Gulf flights.

I was at the Al Safwa Lounge last Sunday...had a 10 hour layover. The private bedroom was greatly needed. I also had the same breakfast you had on the plane. I believe the omelette was beef bacon and cheese. This was my first, but definitely not last, experience with Qatar Airways! Great video, as always. Thanks

Qatar is so nice. It’s an experience from start to finish. That has to be the best lounge I’ve ever seen. The food looks great. Even the blanket looks lush! They’re decadent without being tacky.

This isn’t new, they’ve been selling their business class cabin as first class on their Middle East flights for years
