I was approached by the Spanish Fork Utah River Stake Relief Society President to interview a handful of women for an upcoming activity. I felt I did not have the time but was strongly prompted by that "still small voice" to participate. I did not know what these women would share beforehand, therefore I tried to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere.

My heart was deeply touched and I have been inspired to reach out to my mother and other women in my life to learn about their life experiences. Many women in our neighborhoods have also felt confident to speak out about their abuse, trauma, questions of faith, insecurities, and to reach out for help. The response has been one of love, understanding, acceptance, and acknowledgement of wrongs.

I am fortunate to have been apart of this project. It has changed my life forever.
