🫸 Reasons behind educator resistance---1:01

3 Levels of Resistance
⬆️ Level 1: I don't get it---2:04
⬆️⬆️ Level 2: I don't like it---3:28
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Level 3: I don't like you---4:49

These Levels of Resistance were first introduced to Dr. Martínez by Meena Srinivasan of Karuna Consulting LLC (www.meenasrinivasan.com), who received them during her time on the Oakland Unified School District SEL team, where these levels were shared in professional learning the team offered throughout the district. Ann McKay Bryson of SEL Rising LLC worked in partnership with Oakland as a CASEL consultant, and she is the one who first adapted these levels for use in SEL professional learning. The source materials for the levels are: Katherine Casey, University of Washington CEL Coaching class, Maurer Associates: Change Without Migraines.
