Oh no! You took out originals , of course it's your guitar but on such old nice guitars i would live those in. Plus i love MIJ Yamaki pickups, at least keep them. i'm saying this as well exprianced pickup winder...Anyhow enjoy in your axe i hope you've kept it.

Dude, if you want Peter Green tone, add a pinch of sage to the turmeric. ;-) It's funny though because there's been a bit of a craze recently in the retro home computer world to leave your Amiga (or whatever) out in the sun to get rid of the yellowing! Yeah, I have a '79 Les Paul that I love. The T-Top pickups, less so though. I also replaced the original pickups in my lovely 70's Kimbara (Strat copy) with Tonerider Classic Blues, which I'm very happy with.
