I love her wit - "People act like I should be impressed by them, like wide eyes I took a bike to work today!"

“It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled”.

Trevor is the only interviewer that can humanize Greta. We see a different side of her on this interview that other hosts/journalists can’t. ❤️👏🏽

I love how she acknowledges things as jokes but still answers them seriously and strait forward. The way she processes and talks about topics is both amusing in its insight and novelty and also refreshing.

Greta’s level of directness, eloquence and integrity is exactly what we need in this world.

I used to believe that adults are intelligent, but I was wrong. I think we should elect these kids instead of old men

it’s so cool that an autistic teenager’s special interest is literally effecting world leader’s decisions about the world. i’m so proud of our neurodivergent community.

This was so much fun! Trevor really talks to Greta like a person. Together they even make fun out of climate change activism (the game at the end)! Trevor is brilliant in that! You need to keep your humour even in serious situations to keep the subject fresh and fun in your mind after years and years of advocating for it.

in spite of all the hate she's still going strong for her cause <3

My 2 favourite people in the world...making an impact the best way they know how. The intellect behind coming up with such questions, followed by the grace and thought pattern behind the answers.....Magical

This is a fantastic example of why she got Time's Person of the Year!
  • So proud of her working so hard to do more than her part in this world! I wish you the best!

"Have YOU made progress on the Planet?" - Trevor's question to a teenager...

Greta may not be interested in hearing about people taking their bike to work, but I still have to say that she made me skip flight and go on a trip to four major European cities by train in summer 2018, before her first school strike and therefore before I or anybody else knew who she was. I am also from Sweden and i followed her mother, a famous singer, on Twitter, and she was constantly posting tweets about how flying affects the enviroment under a hashtag that translates to "stayontheground". Sometimes she posted tweets about how she and her husband have to consider their life choices or they would get scolded by their daughter who is extremely knowledgeable about the enviroment and the climate.

3:56 Wish Trevor had picked that up/asked her about the silencing of opposition

Something that the pandemic showed us early on, is how much impact we have in the environment. Look at the LA pics from the early days of lock down
