Fish Tornado. A huge school of jack tuna (bigeye trevally) swarm together in this amazing display of courtship. They absolutely dwarf the scuba diver. Octavio Aburto released a photo titled "David and Goliath" which was so astounding many believed it was staged or altered. It's hard to deny this natural wonder, the tornado of fish, after viewing his footage.

  • The most random thought just came to mind. 'What if a diver gets trapped in a bottom trawler with the other marine catch'?
  • So awesome! We recently tried to see the same thing when traveling to Cabo Pulmo. No such luck!

At least it’s not a piranha tornado 😳

"Tuna" tornado when you clearly identify the fish as jack fish. Makes sense...
  • Not just a shame to lose them, but devastatingly damaging for the eco-system on which humans depend.
