Governor is disgusting 🤮
-
Millions are missing ! Great leadership Newsom!
-
Non-profits are ready to collect money and start making more profits from the homeless Grift😂😂😂😂😂
-
New laws... Go to the fema camp or be arrested.
-
Someone should ask her how much she makes. Guarantee over 250k. It is all a scam.
-
Non Profits!? You can bet your bottom dollar; SOMEONE is profiting BIG TIME on the homeless problem! LOL!!!
-
How can going into a shelter be scary. They live out on the streets that are dangerous
-
Most homeless want to live like that. Many move to those cities just to live in a tent and be free from responsibility. THAT IS A FACT!
-
I did not get robbed at the shelter. I was aware at all times of the drug culture. Drug addicts rob drug addicts. Reckless eyeballing invites trouble. Front line staff are affiliated with and enable drug dealing. Go to your housing appointments, stop hoarding and oversleeping, mind your own business. Stop trying to make friends at a homeless shelter. Be honest with yourself.

Good luck. In Vancouver BC, our mayor tried the same thing in our downtown Eastside. They may removed the tents, but they haven’t removed homeless people off the streets. They are also either on drugs or selling stolen goods. They just don’t have enough shelters to deal with the issue. Our biggest issue is our tax dollars pays for their drugs and there isn’t enough mental health services or low income housing for them. This isn’t going to help CA and Newsom will fail doing it.

I agree we need better solutions for the homeless but allowing homeless camps everywhere is not fair to homeowners who pay taxes only to have to deal with the mess and scary situations of tents or rv's parked along the streets.
-
Notice. Thats funny. SF mayor said "we're hoping we make them (the homeless) so uncomfortable that they accept our 'offer' ". You're going to harass and coerce the homeless enough they go to "prison for poor people" and give up (or give back) all their benefits for a baloney sandwich, a mat on a floor and still no place to go all day and no guarantee of shelter at night? Is that right? What mental health companies and "services" contractors will benefit from your plan? "Connected to services is a LIE". It means giving someone a phone number list. Probably 3 years out of date. You're not concerned about anyone but the person who signs your .gov paycheck.

While San Mateo county tackles homeless really good. San Francisco is just a mess and same with Oakland.
-
How much federal money does the Samaritan House receive?
-
Is this like - "watch out, Homeless, the non-profits are coming for ya. You got 2 whole days..." ROTFL 🤣
-
People will have to be on private property in church parking lots
-
Exactly. Most will turn down the shelter. They don't want structure. They can't drink or drug, they have to wake up at and be in by a certain time, and some don't want to take mental health medications. They're not scared, they just don't want to be told what to do. They're completely comfortable on the street. What do we do with those people?🤷🏼 It's a no win situation...😞
-
It’s not safe in a shelter. Period. If the other people staying don’t rob you or worse. The staff will. I did the navigation center in sf. It was terrible
-
Unhoused, THEY are homeless and some do not want the 4 walls.

Non profit is a scam ❤
