There is a Turkish HP clone called Inglis now, and it is supposed to be a faithful rendering of a Canadian Inglis HP from years ago. I've seen them for under 5 fingers new, but I haven't handled one yet.

About 25 years ago the market was full of identical 'Detective' model shorty hp clones from Argentina. The Argie guns were pretty good and now go for a premium.

Interesting reviews considered a BHP OR BHO CLONE. I would take it out as it will vastly improve the trigger. CAR 15 makes a fine one for home defense and a patrol rifle for law enforcement. Used one for both applications over the years. It was said the Model 70 Winchester was AMERICAS GUN. TODAY ITS THE AR15.
