Great story! Keeping them together (they seem pair bonded) was definitely a good move. Black cats and senior cats have the hardest time and I feel bad for them so I am glad you kept them and kept them together.

Black cats are beautiful, elegant creatures. From the age of 2 my little grandson longer for a black cat.. We waited I too he was old enough to help care for onne. When he hit 7 last year we went to pick up his kitten, Binks, from the RSPCA. They and our older cat are great friends. Binks is a year old now, long, Spencer and full of life. He is a real asset to our family.

Thanks for adopting these black kitties. It breaks my heart that black animals do not get adopted as often as other animals. They are very lucky that they have found a loving human to care for them.

So very similar to how I got my two black cats we called them Polly and Poppy until we found out Polly was a male so called him Pop's. Polly was 17 when she passed and Pop's was 19. Miss them so much. Loved your story, thank you.

What lucky kitties to find such a great dad and a fun home and garden to prowl around in. Sounds like they have settled in very well and have their own daily routine. So glad you adopted both of them. They needed to be together. Another interesting video Sean. Thank you!!

I have 5 rescued indoor cats, I learn something each day from their different characters & love them unconditionally; we never own cats (They own us!) we are just slaves to their rhythm 😻Amber & Topsy were meant for just you Sean, thankyou for giving them the love & happiness they craved 💖🐈⬛🐈⬛💓

I'm glad you changed their names. I had an Aunt Doris . I can picture you now calling Doris Doris and strangers thinking its a little old lady.😊 . My cat Milo, the tabby, can tell the time he knows when its 12. He stares at you with these big eyes then looks at the clock on the wall as if to say look woman its dinner time 😅😸😸

I have two black rescue dogs for the same reason...not many people want black dogs. They turned out to be my world

I’ve got 3 cats. Two black and white and one ginger I let them out in the morning but they are allways in the garden. And constantly check on me throughout the the day. They are allways in by 6 and never out at night
