Trauma served on a silver platter is no less trauma

Wow what he said about John Lennon's Help ....I never thought about that being literally, a cry for help on his part...this is an eye opener.

Compassion is highly underrated. Listening to Gabor Maté always reminds me to be compassionate to others and myself - to at least try. It's a wonderful perspective that he shares from lived experience and scientific knowledge

Cruelty is never justified specially for profit
  • Lonliness, abandonment is a great cause of trauma, not talking, no consoling.

Yh his trauma started before birth. Much trauma is added after his mother's death. So totally overstand his behaviors #even animals hold and touch their kids. Touch influence the brain 🧠 the grandmother and father shakes his hand. He's privileged but still in a dark place. Hope like others he heals

LOVE his transparency. There aren't many men who can admit this. Especially those who have alot to say about Harry.

Gabor Maté is such a thoroughly nice human being. So compassionate, wise, and gentle. Just the way he speaks tones down the noise all around us. I, too, wish his interview with Prince Harry had been available to everyone but perhaps one day he'll interview him again, this time under different rules.

I’ve always felt so much for harry and what he went through 😪 he was the same age as my son when his mum died and it really affected me so I love him he’s had it tough bless him 🥰

Every family has a scapegoat, and clearly in the royal family, It is Harry. I commend him for being so courageous for breaking away. That must’ve been extremely difficult for him. I’m glad that finally someone is acknowledging that deep core childhood pain that he endured and acknowledges how that plays out in his life.

The pain for William and Harry to have lost Diana.. and on top of that not been held. I wonder if they had anyone to cry to. And then for it to be so public. Then this massive trauma informs actions later in life. And then a big mess. I’m so sad there is such division in their family and I do hope they can heal and work through things.
