  • There are millions of users on YouTube, most just browsing or killing time. The surfers leave early but those of us who like your style and would like to learn from you appreciate your real time videos.
  • I agree. Don’t worry about the time. I love watching in real time, as opposed to a sped up piece. Thanks so much!
  • Just do what you're doing, Stuart. Most of us seem to prefer your longer videos - especially those of us looking to learn from you. Thank you!
  • Long videos...I always watch them all the way through... sometimes I am interrupted and come back to watch the rest. But I usually watch it in its entirety in one sitting. Another great tutorial Stuart. Thank you so much for sharing your process and your lovely accent!!
  • Long videos have their place, short videos have their place, but you’ve got such a large following doing what you do there’s no reason to fix what isn’t broken! really inspiring paintings once more.
  • This is the best demonstration I’ve seen. You just get on with it and so informative. So pleased I’ve found your tutorials
  • Your sense of humour is as good as your art. I was a graphic designer so I think that is why I relate so much to your style.
  • Poll - Long videos from Stuart or short ones? 🤚🏼LONG ONES, pleeeease! I could watch and listen to your videos all day 🌹
  • Time! What's time exactly? I don't measure the time when I'm watching you paint Stuart, because I'm too absorbed. Go with what ever you feel at the moment. Cheers 👍
  • I agree with Dianne...real time is cool and your explanations as to why you do things intrigue me. "Stay calm, you can always fix it! I'm going to get a tea! Have fun!
  • Stuart, you are one of the few artists on youtube I always watch from beginning to end! Most of the others. I just fast forward through them (they take sooo long to get to the point!). Then when they finally do, they go high speed and pass right through the stuff I want to watch! I truly love your self deprecating sense of humor, too! Methinks you are too humble at times...thank you for your videos!
  • Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. Love your videos. The longer the better. I could watch you paint for hours 🙂 the longer the better
  • Just press record... I could watch and learn all day Stuart. Thank you
  • I really love the attitude you paint with! All so true. I haven’t painted oil in over 20 years and I can’t wait to start again. My husband died and I stopped painting but I’m now painting again yay!
  • I personally like the long videos. People with a short attention span can always go to settings at the bottom and speed them up, but then they would miss your relaxing voice and reasoning. Love your reference to dear old Bob, bless him.
  • absolutely breathtaking. thank you for sharing your amazing art with us.
  • Wow, Stuart. I LOVE the way you teach, the way you encourage, your generosity, attention to detail in the little things that actually do enter into an artists head...like: “if you have these lines you don’t like, Don’t panic and keep brushing” or “pay attention to the lines as you go and look for unexpected lines or shapes that you want to keep, don’t just keep sweeping away”. Very important insights that are lacking in other tutorials.
  • As a new painter with a full life, I watch as I can, and often have more time in middle of night or early a.m. and am so grateful to all your sharings and offerings! Anything you have to share to improve the love and experience of others is certainly worthwhile, is it not? Lifting the joy of the whole community, whole planet, one grateful soul at a time: thank you, dear Stuart! You are a hero for this little old lady in Vermont, USA, just now learning to paint (after all these years without it) 💕💕💕 thank you!!! 🌈🌈
  • Your paintings spark me with joy watching and learning! I prefer watching you than regular tv. I love to learn. Thank You!
