2 MINUTES AGO: Caitlin Clark JUST SHOWED Cheryl Reeve WHY She Should Be in The Olympics!

I’m an 87 year old former Iowan who hasn’t paid attention to girls or women’s basketball since the days of the half court game. With Caitlin shooting the lights out with the Iowa Hawkeyes, I have suddenly become a regular fan hoping her next game with the Fever will be on a channel in my area. The fact that she’s a one in a million player from my state is thrilling to say the least. You do Iowa proud Caitlin.

CC doesn't have the most important requirement to be on the US Olympic team. She's not a lesbian

To say that Clark doesn’t belong on the US team because of inexperience is just a poor way of explaining that she’s not wanted. There are veteran players that were chosen to play for US team as a rookie and Clark is better than any of them as a rookie. Just stupid since they would bring in a lot of money snd exposure for the sport. Duh!

Magic and bird came out of retirement to play in the Olympics. Just by her being there, millions of people would have been watching.

Clark needs to tell the Olympic team to take a hike. Its too late, when they omitted Caitlin the entire country started rooting for the Olympic team to get beat in the first round.

Reeves already publicly stated that CC is not on Team USA because she does not want to deal with her fans. Reeves is a monster.

Clark for the Olympic squad is a no brainer. I played for Phoenix Falcons in a local league here in the UK many years ago and she is like on-one I've ever seen. Hope the Selectors see sense !!

Anyone with eyes can see Clark is the Best in the WNBA, including the Veterans. As a Rookie she's blowing the doors off. Remember she's been doing this since she was a young kid...and she is getting better with each game. What I love is that the opposing teams just can't stop her! Reminds me of when my son tried out for the basketball team in Jr. High, 7th grade. He out scored everyone, passed to the open man, ran rings around the defenders with his dribbling and ball handing but the coach didn't pick him...I asked him why and his lame excuse was...the kids I have now are a good team. I asked him about his won/lost record. He sheepishly said 22 wins, 38 loses. I just told him, it's apparent you are playing ''Friends Kids" vs. picking winners. You should be ashamed of yourself for selling out the school!

Don't do it Catlin, unless the coach is off with a couple other players.

I used to respect Diane Taurasi,not anymore ! What she did for Women’s college basketball and what she’s done for the WNBA is unbelievable.But to say the things she has said about Kaitlin and then done the about face like a grizzled politician.It’s disgraceful ! She should be ashamed of herself ! Woman’s basketball has the chance to possibly get away from taking $10,000,000 a from the NBA and make their league profitable in less than 5 years to come. Instead she was downplaying the situation,saying Clark was no big deal.I’ve said enough,Clark’s playing speaks for itself !

CC needs to replace Taurasi and Reeve needs to be replaced as Team USA head coach. Reeve and Taurasi both need to retire.

Clark should be the rookie placed on the Olympic Team. But for the first time since 1996 when the first rookie was placed on the team, the WNBA decided that THIS YEAR they are not going to put a rookie on the team if that rookie would have to be Caitlin Clark.

I was watching a program online and the show went to a commercial. To my surprise it was a Gatorade commercial featuring Caitlin Clark. It takes years for an athlete to get a commercial deal. Ms Clark did it in under two months. In all likelihood she will earn millions even though her salary as a first year player is a measly $78,000. Given how well she is doing on the court her income in her first year might be greater than the combined salaries of every player in the league. It has been already said but she is the next Michael Jordan.
