It made me really sad when she talked about most houses having no things.
  • The fact that north Koreans never said "i/we flew from north to this and that country" but instead "i/we escaped"
  • @kuravle008
She is actually very pretty and I'm happy she is living life how she's supposed to be Edit: I'm comparing her with the thumbnail and the actual video cause thumbnails are usually edited

Can’t imagine the fact that i would be living there if my grandmother hadn’t escaped there when she was 3… too bad I’d never got to learn Korean (i can still understand some) but my language learning skills is terrible
  • @byul_9098
I'm 18 years old...I hope to witness North Korea have their freedom before i even cease to existπŸ™ŒπŸ»βœ¨
  • @miimx6018
Even through some of her comments, we can see how doubtful she is as some of the videos looks fake than what is truly happen in NK
  • @julian-xy7gh
Thanks for having the English and Korean subtitles alongside each other. It really helps discover words that I didn't know yet and reinforce words that I half remember/recognize!
  • @srjye3524
2:26 the fact that they considered the almost empty house owned from a very wealthy person but mostly in other countries it’s for poor or average person
  • @pehnutbota
I feel like I’m watching back from the past video, they look like an old people with old fashion styles
  • These videos really only show the best of North Korea. Most of the world has no idea how horrible the conditions are those people are living in. It’s very heartbreaking
  • I feel the nostalgia in her eyes even tho your country is bad you will always love it i know what I'm talking about
  • @00B.
The only thing that I find positive in NK is the public spaces completely spotless because you are supposed to keep them that way, the rest is just sad, especially the empty houses thing
  • @jfikri1
really hope Kim grows a heart & let N.korea develop for its people
  • @lilronnyg5724
I feel like she really held back on saying things because of a certain nostalgia for her home.

I am really fascinated how North Korea works and how secluded it is. Hopefully South Korea and North Korea unites as one, even though I believe it will take perhaps 50+ years for that to happen. Overall this is an informative video.

I love how she knows that most of these things are fake but she still tries to keep on a smile and be enthusiastic. It's like she's hoping better things will happen in North Korea, which we all hope too.
  • @yjl__04
for those of u saying that u hope for the countries to unite, think before u actually say that. as time passes, south korea is going to continue to grow and will grow very fast, seeing that the south is advancing in everything like technology really quickly. but guess what… the north isn’t going to change. when we start riding some kind of flying cars, the north will be in the same exact spot it is today.
  • @RayMak
North Korea is really really changing =)
