I love watching these, it's like watching a friend open Christmas or birthday gifts! Hope's reaction to the toys was so cute. One perk of parenthood that I love is getting to play with cute/ fun things again. I got a Squishmallow for my son and loved it so much I had to get one for myself, lol. It's so nice as an extra pillow (they come in different sizes) that even our cat likes it!

I’m really thinking that was the mini rainbow piñata that never arrived at my house. It was from Target and they refunded me! I got it to decorate for a November birthday, so if this was right before Christmas (all these packages)-then this is very possible haha! 😂😂😂 I’d like to think if it was that it went to someone like you who had a fun time opening all of this stuff! ❤

Not sure if anybody's commented yet, but the furby had corroded batteries in him! A pretty bad case of them too. However, you should, in theory, be able to get him working again if you just take a q-tip and some vinegar and clean off the battery acid! I've had to do it with some of my furbies, and it works like a charm! Also, the characters on the watch were Ren and Stimpy :]

The fact that hope was probably opening a bunch of kids lost Christmas presents is the funniest thing ever😂

I know I'm way late on this, but if anyone ever encounters a similar situation as Hope with the Furby, there is a chance you can salvage the item. All of that white mess is corrosion from the old batteries leaking. I would advise wearing gloves to protect your skin from any potential new leakage of battery acid, but the corrosion itself will not burn you if you wash your hands thoroughly after you finish. To try to save the item, you need to do the following: 1. Remove and appropriately dispose of old batteries. 2. Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol (70% or higher) into a disposable cup and grab a few q-tips. 3. Dunk one end of the Q-tip into the alcohol and begin cleaning out all areas of the battery compartment. (The corrosion is what is keeping the batteries from making a connection with the metal circuit) 4. Pay extra attention to the metal areas and springs of the circuit. 5. Once the battery compartment is as clean as you can manage, leave the item set for a little while for all the alcohol to evaporate from the compartment. 20 minutes is typically enough. 6. Once dry, place new batteries according to directions and check to see if the item has power. 7. If the item does not turn on/operate, repeat steps as many times as desires. 8. Bear in mind... Sometimes, the battery acid will leak into the item farther than the battery compartment and destroy other vital parts. I usually assume the item is unsalvagable if it does not power on after three rounds of cleaning and dying. But use your discretion.

For the furby, that usually happens with batteries start leaking, which is not a good thing for electronics. If the damage isn't as bad, try cleaning up the contacts with alcohol and a swab, and make sure there isn't any battery liquid residue. Once it's done, it should work again if the damage wasn't that bad to begin with.

As someone who's watched quite a few packages make it all the way to my local post office, be rerouted without a notification, and then watch the package head to California or wherever, I feel a slight twinge of annoyance that USPS and others are making money off of these packages, when if they actually did some due diligence, they'd be able to find/contact the person the package belongs to.

Hope and her friends should totally sit down and play with the toys they grew up with and compare them to their modern counterparts and make a video about. I love seeing toys I played with that were canceled like for example those Sky Dancers. Or lawn darts. Just seeing the nostalgia on her face when she saw the Furby
