  • Then when you try calling them it saids can no longer take calls. Center point. Should be looked into as about this
  • @patriotoftruth
Clearly none of our county leaders were prepared for this storm to turn and directly hit Houston. Even though they were warned this could happen last week. Very disappointed and heartbroken for the loss of life.

Man. When will people learn. Don't even risk your life to go to work police, ambulance, firefighter. If it's not safe don't try. Never worth to lose your life and other people losing you for that.
  • Please please please πŸ™ pray for Cleveland TX to get power ASAP. My Mom is on oxygen 24/7. I need regular nebulizer treatment
  • @Tmb1112

This is complete incompetence from CenterPoint, there has to be some major change to this if not we’re doomed to get the same result if not even worse if a stronger hurricane hits us given we aren’t even at peak hurricane season yet
  • @dwjoseph59
I know one thing though my fellow texans & louisianians: next category 3 or category 5 hurricane we see; WE'RE GETTING THE HELL OUTTA DODGE!! Hurricane beryl was only cat 1 to 1 & 1/2 😳😳😲😲😒😒!!
  • @cvp2000
Making a civilian, information security officer, not an essential service, come in to work during a hurricane is preposterous.
  • @peternolan4107
So the crews are not there because they had no idea Beryl was coming, right?
  • @bwtawny
This was a Cat.1 storm. Other than coastal locations facing storm surge the biggest potential problem is going to be rain related flooding. This part of SE TX is very flat and very flood prone. The massive influx of people into those flood sensitive areas only makes it worse.
  • The crews were not here because CNP would have had to pay hundreds of thousands extra in hotels and wages. CNP is cheap and reactive not proactive. I worked in customer service for years and eventually quit. They are cheap. Their CEO makes millions a year and they worry about the wrong thing. We would tell customers bull restoration times because CNP was too cheap to upgrade their SAP application to real-time for their contact center. I quit after 10 years in management because I felt they were unethical in their treatment of customers.
  • I’m watching and crying 😒 … God help please!!!πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
