Awww! And Jim, your corn loves you back! Keep up the great work and keep on farming!
  • Jim, your efforts at growing corn and your entire garden are not wasted as your children and in the future even your grandchildren will grow up with an appreciation of what it takes to put food on their tables. They will know the hard work it takes, they will know how the vagaries of the weather can make or break all your hard work, and that it doesn't just magically appear in the store. And they will have a deep appreciation of everything farmers do and deal with in order to grow the crops and raise the animals that we end up eating for our food.

Jim, you are a breath of fresh air. God bless you, my friend.
  • I am single but fell in love with him when he said there are 5 kids crawling all over the floor in my apartment who left the peanut butter out.

Ha ha! I'm the youngest of 3 kids and can relate about not having any photos - gotcha! Love your story here.   I grew up in the high desert where horticultural engagement amounted to burning tumbleweeds once a year and maybe watering a piñon tree occasionally through the summer. Now that I finally, and recently own a home in south LA I'm crash-coursing on making something pretty in the front yard without doing the lawn thing. I had no idea that there was such an engaging world of understanding in planting flowers!
  • What will the world be without you, Jim? 😂😂😂 God bless you and your family. Stay safe in these crazy times and stay close to daddy God.🎉❤💒🙏🎸❤️‍🔥⛪️💯💃🥳🛐💒🥹🥹🥹🤗

A dad providing for his family. As it should be.
  • Great story! Corn is one of the trickiest crops to grow for a backyard gardener. Getting any full ears is a real accomplishment. Glad to see you’re getting your grow on.
  • @VgnRaj
Good story. A lot we can share from that.
