US missiles in Germany

America thinks that we are still in the 1980's... incapable of realising that the world has moved on.

It's incredible. My friends and i protested against the installation of US cruise missiles in Holland in the early 80. Widespread protests in the EU. Half a million in Holland alone. And now? Not a peep. All on the war bandwagon. When confronted w this my friends don't seem to grasp its significance or even understand what the issue is. This groupthink is truely bizarre. We were ALL in agreement in the 1980s but some very conservative peopke were scared enough of the USSR. And now everybody wants those weapons. I feel im the only sane person. I present the parallel and their eyes glaze over. They have this Putin=Hitler narrative going and gobble up western media propaganda with gusto. So sad..

This makes no sense at all. It is so escalatory. The West goes back and forth like a lab rat with too much caffeine....

Peace and love in these evil times. May God protect us all.

Nobody seems to care anymore because the social fabric has eroded away, and everyone is fed up with everybody else.
