Ok but the can we just appreciate the amount of detail that went into the fight scene like they did not have have that scene of Shadow using Sonic as a surfboard ITS SO GOOD!

The way sonic repeatedly looks shadow up and down throughout this show kills me every time 😭

This is the first time in a while we’ve actually seen Shadow done well. He’s serious but he’s not a total edge lord. We even see his dry sense of humor contrast with Sonic’s witty albeit childish sense of humor. And the Sonadow moments actually feel believable and in character for both Sonic and Shadow as opposed to being just fan service.

Wonder if Shadow falling reminded Sonic of trying to save him at the end of SA2

Sonic is so funny, casually joking around about saving Shadow as if he wasnt just desperately screaming his name out of fear of losing him lmao

....They finish each other's sentences in this episode, how could one not.

I wanted more shadow this season....but i adored what screen time they did give him.

Sonic feeling so happy to see a familiar face after essentially wiping them out that he just HUGS shadow is too wholesome. I almost expected to see his tail wag 😂 Even shadow got a little less angry for a moment after such genuine affection.

The fact that shadow only gets defensive and fights Sonic again because Sonic shows the concerning signs of getting attached to these alternate versions of his friends 😭 mans is SCARED and trying to make sure sonic doesnt fall off the wrong path so bad. He knows whats good for the world and is afraid sonic will get too attached to want to bring back everything they love. Dude doesnt want to fight sonic on something much more morally complicated & hurt him so he fights him to try and stop sonic before he gets to that point bc he knows sonic has an incredibly good, compassionate heart and could hurt himself emotionally from having to get rid of these vers of his friends

The audacity to hug your rival is just kind of odd. But they have to have the best rivalry in the whole entire franchise

Shadow was so cool in prime. I heard he was a badly written in other series and games but I like him on prime.

The amount of people seething in the comments over this small and harmless ship video is honestly so fucking funny and makes me glad I'll never be as miserable as them 💀 ANYWAYS Sonadow fans are eating so well lately and I couldn't be any more happier

2:31 in this part in particular, i thought that perhaps sonic’s attitude seems almost too desperate, the way he was completely overtaken with what might have been fear when he saw shadow falling away. The way the first person pov shows him reaching out, you can clearly imagine the SA2 scene of shadow falling. the way sonic carries him in his arms securely is another part of that scene that brings it together and really shows that he truly does value shadow, even if only to a platonic extent. to make this short: hah gay
