FF7 Rebirth Otakon 2024 - Devs Teasing Info "In Near Future", FF7R Part 3, Queen's Blood & More!

I just wanna say I’m glad someone is still posting ff7 content consistently up until now even if it doesn’t get crazy views I love watching updates on it

Im not surprised that they wanted us to confuse us at the end of rebirth they said something like that way back in 2019/20 when they talked about "new mysteries". They have to keep us engaged. The only reservation I have is that do they in part 3 answering everything? or will it be ambiguous in some sense? I hope not

I want a AAA RPG on PS5 based on The First Soldier while we wait for Part 3!

I kind of liked the simplicity of Dynes death in the OG. I wondered if them showing a suicide would hurt the games rating which can affect sales etc but will definitely take note of Barrets VA situation next time I play rebirth. The voice cast for rebirth are amazing. I definitely feel invested in Barret a lot more in the remake series than I did the original where he was wasn’t a main player for me. Seemed he had Midgar and Corel and that’s was it for his development. Agree on the coin flip for first turn in queens blood. I wonder if they’ll hurt the simplicity of it though by doing too much.

A time for a beautiful scene between Barret and Marlene could be post Midgar Raid. We might get to see what all the party members are doing for their last days before the showdown, in addition to just the Under the Highwind scene. Queen's Blood was awesome. What if that Snow woman in OG's Great Glacier is a sorceress like the Emerald Witch or Shadowblood Queen, and defeating her turns her into a card?

I think we may end up getting DLC... I am starting to think possibly, now this is only a theory... that they did make more Zack content, but the game was so huge that they ended up cutting it out to save for a DLC to keep the hype train going. Perhaps we get a DLC that is focused on Zack and potentially gives us a couple more clues on what's actually happening. If timeline is what they end up going with... which right now we know these are worlds within the lifestream, maybe one of these worlds actually becomes it's own parallel universe meaning it has it's own lifestream and is in effect in another dimension. I know they said no dlc... but... who knows. At least September Ever Crisis with young Angeal and possibly Genesis reveal coming has me sooo excited.

The things that this guy says about FF7 content remind me of what I am thinking when I am sitting on the toilet. My mind races as I use the bathroom and I quickly talk to myself about FF7 content. It is exactly like this guy is doing in his videos, and then I never think about this game content again when I am finished flushing the toilet.

I agree with you it is a weird that they said "Wait a little longer , knowing that we are years away from part 3....I know I may be crazy to say what I'm about to say. But If i remember, somewhere on "X" or maybe you covered it but Christian Cody kinda confirmed that he recorded what Cloud says in Aerith death scene. Fact check me.. I KNOW they said there was no DLC planned...but Square have said that before for previous games and then BOOM DLC announced...What if we get a DLC Where we get that scene and a confirmation of her fate? or would it be sucky to get that on a DLC..I dont know.

what i really want to know right is are we getting a steam version soon or not exclusive to PS5 was suppose to be 3 months...but there are no other console who has it yet.

I’m hoping that part 3 of the remake trilogy will end at the northern cave and fight Sephiroth one more time before the party frees Holy and after Aerith summons the lifestream, we will get a new ending and have the ending play out with the party going back to the church and Tifa grieves over aerith’s death and she cries on Cloud’s shoulders for hours and cloud comforts Tifa like that happened in on the way to a smile case of Tifa.

I've seen a lot of hate for the Dyne scenes, Rebirth may deserve criticism in various areas but that ain't it man. They did an awesome job with that. I feel like that's 100% a classic case of people clinging too tightly to the OG

Love the content bro. Great points on Queens Blood, I believe i saw somewhere that for testing, the dev team did have a physical set for it. Would be great if they made it commercially availible, id certainly buy it. To your point about a Physical TCG, did you know Square enix and Hobby Japan have a Final Fantasy TCG? Its avalible woldwide and on its 23rd set now 😅

Kitase said the ending for part 3 is going to be a new ending.

PS5 Game Only Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Square Enix Game of the year 2024 is the best Action RPG game for now until other Game Released By Square Enix later on this year for PS5 Console.

They're doing a good job with cloud and tifa this time, I just hope they give them their own kids instead of making them a celibate couple the way they did last time around.
