  • I love test cricket (the og version played over multiple days), both the T20 & one day variants & know next to nothing about the rules of baseball but it totally infuriates me when anyone tries to claim one is better. Yes, there are similarities, but they are two very different sports. Both of which are equally enjoyable.

T20 are entertaining but for true cricket fans test is always best
  • But in baseball all balls comes full toss. But in cricket there are many variations that you can't predict how it comes.
  • 3:46 88mph after hitting the Ground in front of you and than Bounce back at you from any angle that gives you a mili Second to react to and remember that ball is Swinging in the air before touching the ground and it’s going to swing again after touching the ground and it’s all happening in a Second
  • Test format is still the best format of cricket which requires skill and mental strength and patience too
  • 2:34 that pro Baseball Player is hitting a 60kph ball from an unknown ordinary Guy which is a very slow speed with no Spin on the Ball .

Oh yeah Ms Dhoni In Thumbnail 💯💯💯

1.Cricket bat have more surface area of contact . True! You have seen swinging ball in cricket. Does a pitcher swing the ball that much? Probably not. So it's even harder to make contact with a swinging ball or a spinning ball. A little miss hit a the ball will go directly to the fielder , which is more in number than , baseball fielders. Also they are placed with planning. 2. CRICKET BALL IS A LOT HEAVIER THAN A BASEBALL BALL. THAT'S MAY BE THE REASON FOR SPEED. 3. Popularity fact ... I AGREE WITH YOU... BUT BASEBALL IS ALSO NOT PLAYED WORLDWIDE. 4. THE COMMENTS ON GLOVES IS NOT MADE BY CRICKET LOVERS. THEY ARE USUALLY AMERICANS. THEY ARE USED TO GLOVES FOR CATCHING AND THAT'S WHY WHEN THEY SEE A BARE HANDED CATCH THEY ARE SHOCKED. Also a bare handed catch is cool than..... 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎 5. People died because a bouncer hit them on head ... with helmet on. RIP PHILLIPS HUGHES. It's not easy to make contact with cricket ball . BELIEVE ME. 6. No one hate test cricket. 5 days are worth it. T20 is favourite for new comers . Like you. The essence of test cricket can't be felt by watching cricket for just few months. I am a cricket fan and test cricket is my favourite game. Btw great

Lmao, that video is hella biased! I am pretty sure the creator never played a single match of cricket, let alone three formats of the game. Also, the thing about popularity is true. It doesn't count as popular just because Americans like baseball.
  • Ask baseball player to ball full toss to Chris gayle😂😂😂..You will have to purchase new ball after every ball 😂
  • What make cricket the best and hardest in the world is it's relation with Nature right from the soil of pitch, the amount of water used to make pitch, the wind Speed, the Sunny or cloudy climate, etc too can change the match so rapidly that the loosing team can't do anything about that.
  • @gparavindan
Cricket’s test format is played for 5 days. 90 overs bowled on each day and all matches in Asia most probably played in the hottest of the weather conditions. Athleticism, stamina and technique... there can’t be any comparison.. cricket wins hands down.
  • Well I've played both sports and although each sport has it's own pros and cons my opinion and the facts says cricket is harder
  • @abhinavsaig8144
Width of cricket bat being more gives more edges and catches..so it has its disadvantages too
  • @nohaybanda
Apples and oranges. The video you're reacting to is disingenuous, biased and ignorant. It is comparing baseball with cricket exclusively on baseballs terms. It's like saying that monkeys are more skillful than fish because they can climb trees but fish can't. The things that make cricket harder, such as the movement of the ball off the pitch, the unpredictability of the behavior of the pitch, the length of the game, the degradation of the pitch over 5 days, the interplay of skill and stamina over 5 days etc. etc. are not even discussed, as they are entirely absent from baseball. Ridiculous.
  • @CAshishRaj
Can't be compared... But fun to compare
  • So, 2 years ago I played a season of Baseball and while I can't say if the baseball players were just not at the same skill level that I play cricket at, but for me batting in baseball is easier. The baseball does move more through the air, travels a shorter distance and generally slightly quicker, but you are far more stationary and are basically playing the same shot. In cricket you need to decide if you're playing a front-foot or back-foot shot, where you move your feet to, and what shot you are going to play. As for fielding, it's not even a contest, the glove absolutely makes it easier, regardless of the "why" of it. Baseball does make up for this in other areas, like the ball almost always being in play, stealing bases etc, and while I still prefer Cricket, I did find Baseball very enjoyable.

Watch AB De Villiers batting and fielding. Holds the record for the fastest 100 and 150 in ODI(One Day International)
