Without knowing how to research would play out, one strategy could be to look at what % of 16-18 year old baseball players make it to the MLB vs 16-18 year old cricketers who have success at the highest level of cricket. I'm not sure what it is for cricketers, but here are the probabilities for the major sports in the U.S. : High School (HS) to Pro basketball - .03%, HS to pro Football - .09%, HS to pro Baseball - .5%, HS to Pro hockey - .4% Interestingly, it seems the hardest sport to become a pro in is basketball. However, the reason for this might be there are much fewer players on a basketball team then on a baseball team. Bringing this back to Baseball/Cricket, maybe the best source of information, oddly enough, would be Japan. While their best baseball team in the Nippon Professional Baseball would be competitive, they might win 50-60 games in a MLB season and finish last. However the Nippon Professional Baseball league is a high level of baseball, and Japan also has a national cricket team. So lets reach out to some Japanese and pose the question of which sport requires more skill.

I couldn't hear a single word about the round arm bowling in cricket which is way more difficult than just throwing the ball

I wonder how fast Aroldis could throw if he could get a running start. zoom zoom....

Bowling is definitely way harder than you think. You use a totally different set of muscles to do the same thing when compared to baseball

Bowling needs more skill then pitching tbh. Swinging a baseball ball in air while throwing is possible with every throw by virtue of the characteristics stitches of a baseball ball (which call seam in cricket ball) and i know that to have specific type swing like a Splitter, Curveball etc needs more skill, but it will always swing if you throw it with enough force and with a little skill. While in cricket it depends on the environment and pitch, and bowlers who can take even 2-3 top order wickets in a flat pitch on a good batting ambiance are someone with special skills.

In one game player struggle even with flat bat and in another game player use a tiny thin bat. Then it's clear cricket bowling need more skill.

No way you didn't tell us about the type of deliveries baseball bowlers bow,all i see they boweling full toss all the time, meanwhile in cricket bowlers bowl full toss, Yorker, swing, inswing, outswing, carron, bouncer, shortball, slower delevery, slower Yorker etc Clearly cricket is toughest and most entertaining sport in the world,No sport come close to cricket in term of skill, tough, and entertainment ❤️☝️
