OKC is so underrated. I love the science museum right next to the zoo!
  • You have brought so much of my childhood back to me with this video. I was born and raised in OKC area (grad of Carl Albert 1989), and when you were at Frontier City, I was almost in tears remembering my family trips there when I was a kid. I rode those little cars, but they were all black when I was 5...none of those cool, bright colors you showed. LOVE THE UPDATE!!! I remember the gun shows in the "old town" area. I remember the wood plank "sidewalks" along the buildings in old town, and we would always clunk our shoes on the boards to make the "cowboy boot" sound from the old west shows. I loved your video. What amazing memories you've given to this old woman. I fully plan to make a trip to OKC again soon.... THANK YOU!!!!! I'm so glad you guys had a good time in my hometown. Y'all come back now, ya hear? ;)
  • I seriously appreciated this. You're more detailed than a lot of the video people. I loved the animal faces and you taking the time to actually ay things about them. TY. This was a fairly nice zoo, for a zoo. Wish it was closer so I could go. Thanks again.
  • Burma shave was shaving cream sold 1920-1960’s and they advertised with “verse by the side of the road” which is the name of a book chronicling the verses.
  • @Harta23

The Silver Bullet used to be at the Texas State Fair for a couple of years as the Looping Star.

thanks for the vid guys, I definetly have to check out some of the places you showed us. Especially the Flashback Retro Pub looks kind of fun to me.
  • Really enjoyed this vlog of OKC. The art exhibits and the zoo were especially cool.
  • I'm a 3rd generation crane operator so most buildings me my dad or grandpa has worked on at some time or other in the city. When me and my dad drive through the city we will tell each other which buildings we worked on
  • This was very helpful. I've had an interest in visiting Frontier City and Hurricane Habor but the big problem I have when planning those kind of trips is what else am I going to do in town to make my visit worth while. Perhaps you could make one of these videos for the area surrounding Silverwood in Idaho.
  • The Burma Shave thing is an old Route 66 advertising campaign that's still there today. that's what it's referencing
  • Hey Legend! I met you at your drunken vengeance day at CP. We were hanging out at the bbq/beer stalls and you were hammered. You were saying something about someone going to Pinks. Good times, good times.
  • Backdoor BBQ surprised that sausage and sweetbreads weren't the first things on the list.
  • I have never understood the rivalry between North Texans and Oklahoma until I saw this video. Nobody ever told me that they are serving our toast in their state. Get your own toast okkies.
