Next video is very much more comprehensive. And I have a tentative release date. I also spoke to Mr. Suzuki himself who had a lot of great things to share.

From what I've seen so far, this is gonna be a nice one. Glad you have arrived safely. Hope the Time Zones don't getcha 👍🏾🙏🏾💯✔️🤪

Thank you, Ria! I'm stoked for this radio and love my D74! For me, this is currently the closest to a perfect radio!
-
Thanks for our eye ball QSO! Please enjoy JARL hamfair.

Woot! Kenwood even talking about a release date is progress since Dayton. It still felt like it was nearly a year away based on how guarded the team was talking around a release date then. Excited to hear more!
-
Really wish they'd do an updated D-710 mobile!
-
Thanks, Ria! Looking forward to more coverage on this radio and all things Kenwood at the JARL Ham Fair. 👍🏾

Beautiful!
-
My first HT was a Kenwood TH-K2AT, and it still does very well on 2m.
-
How much will the handheld radio cost in Germany?
-
I hope they make a mobile version of this with 50 W output
-
it's not gonna be cheap! I'd love to have one, but it's hard to justify the price.
-
Is the case rubberized or pretty much the same as the D74?
-
Ria!? That was a teaser, any word on a release date?
-
Watching to give you the view time. I could not care less about this radio. I feel these manufactures need to listen to what we want in a radio and most do not.
-
Nice of you have the $$$.
-
Hello there. Mrs Ria. Nice radio. So your going to do a review soon ? Anyways enjoy let’s us know you likes and dislikes please

Kenwood is an eyesore. Why is their team so terrible at design? They keep making chunky bricks that look like their engineering team has no pride.

I like all the features of it from what I recall but I fear that the price will reflect that and it will be super expensive. My second niggly gripe for an ultimate HT is that its not pretty to look at and the screen should be bigger for its biggest target demographic being cashed up old people, most likely with poor eyesight. To the younger audience, it's as bland as boiled rice, I think Kenwood must have used their old design team from 30 years ago. Im still super excited to see it's actual performance and its final feature set but I doubt I could allow myself to invest in a cutting edge hypercar, priced accordingly but having the appearance of a 30 year old box shaped, beiged coloured Volvo station wagon with vinyl imitation woodgrain panelling. I would certainly be embarrassed to have it sitting proudly with the best of my Chinese HT's. Just my opinion but I feel a massive wasted opportunity from Kenwood to make a big come-back into Amateur Radio.🤷♂️
