  • I didn't know Hot Cross Buns were seasonal for Easter...what a treat! Once again, you got my mouth watering, and me gaining 5 pounds, just by watching. I could smell that yumminess from here! Well done, again Kate. Those buns look scrumptuous!

Good to see you getting into and really enjoying your cooking Kate. Dough can be temperamental and very tricky to make so many steps to it and a lot of waiting around, you did well. I've made a few breads in my time some turned out like magic others made a great thud when they hit the side of the bin LOL

thanks my dear, i wish a wondeful Easter

They looked good Kate! Making bread sure does take a lot of time. I love homemade bread but I never have the time to make it.

Kate, you did a terrific job! I had to look up sultana to find that it's a seedless raisin. I looked at the recipe online. I was puzzled by more than sultana. There is something there called "sachet fast-action or easy-blend yeast" and "strong bread flour." Is there difficult-to-blend yeast and weak bread flour? This recipe was challenging! So you deserve a heck of a lot of credit for pulling it off! Your hot crossed buns looked luscious! Bravo!
