Bob Newhart was one of the legendary TV comedians. He had a very soft way of telling jokes and was just a lovable guy. Even his movie roles were terrific. Rip Bob

I remember watching Bob Newhart in the 70's as a psychiatrist. His deadpan delivery was great. Prayers for his children .

R.I.P. to all. I lost many of my memories this week. Richard Simmons, Dr Ruth, Bob Newhart, and Shannon Dougherty, as well as the others. So many well known losses this week. Shannen was only 5 years older than me. We watched "Beverly Hills, 90210" every week. And, my sister loved exercising to Richard Simmons' workout videos. RIP to all.

Rough week! Richard Simmons and Dr. Ruth; two trailblazers that I respected so much. Bob Newhart; one of the most iconic and beloved actors of my generation. RIP to them and everyone else who passed this week.

I'm so sad that so many legends have passed away this week: Dr. Ruth, Richard Simmons, Shannen Doherty, and just yesterday, Lou Dobbs and Bob Newhart. They will all be missed.
