Completely unsurprising. I'm looking forward to people being somehow surprised that this movie turns out to be a quirky team of people learning to trust and rely on each other.

I'm with you on The Crow. heard about that one and pissed me off because that's Brandon Lee's movie. I know there's different story lines they can go with from the comics but at the same time to reboot a movie that was top notch at the time and is a cult classic now seems absolutely doomed to fail. .

Obviously, you didn't see Batman v Superman because in that Perry White was played by Laurence Fishburne(a black actor), so technically, Zack Snyder got there first.

The movie Holes was better than Dune.

I'm usually completely against race swapping characters but I'm pretty sure switching the side characters a little bit isn't as bad🤔 For the longest time they were just switching out redhead Jimmy Olsen which is the next most important side character after Louis I mostly enjoy to watch the fights, not the dialogue of characters

Gunn definitely isn’t “the savior”…I did like his Suicide Squad & Peacemaker, but whatever. I’ll wait for trailers & word of mouth before I even consider watching anything from Gunn & the DCU.

If the actor/actress can convincingly pull it off then I do not care. You are right as I do not think they will ever make a character like blade being portrayed by a white skinned person. The crow movie is a cult classic and yes probably does not need to be remade but at least mamoa isn't the actor cause he would NOT be able to pull off a heart broken character. Gunn can't screw up a superman can he? All they really need is a convincingly compelling villain like brainiac and the movie should be good. Anyway I have doubts but hopefully a great actor/actress can step up and do something like heath ledger and steal the show.

Rare racial swaps aren't a problem. Lawrence Fishburne in MoS was a pretty good choice for example, or Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
