The Unused Villain Designs of Spider-Man: No Way Home

You know I like the idea of Green Goblin using Iron Man armor to mess with Peter. It would be a cool big middle finger to Stark’s legacy

Man Ock in the comic accurate suit with the pose he’s in goes SO hard

I actually kinda like the Dark Elf Goblin design. It’s a good reinterpretation of the comic outfit. It still isn’t as good as the 2002 suit, but it’s way better than the one we got in the final film.

I feel like Osborn wearing Iron Man armor is a neat idea for a few reasons: 1. It refrences his time as Iron Patriot and 2. showcases how Norman works as a inverted Tony Stark, someone who cares only about power and his own desires as opposed to Tony who (after his experience in Afghanistan) dedicated his life to redeeming himself for his mistakes !

Im glad they didn't keep Electro's TASM2 design although I would have liked to see the yellow eith the classic suit

The comic accurate doc ock looks so goofy 😭 but the design is 🤌🤌🤌

Honestly, I think some of these designs would work for the actual MCU incarnations of the characters.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason why the villains were redesigned even slightly was because of legal reasons with Sony and Marvel. If you look carefully, even the Green Goblin armor isn't exactly the same as the 2002 film.

I like the concept of having Goblin just destroy the entire apartment complex, something he's known for, but I'm glad they went for the fight scene instead as that's the best scene of the movie. Having Dafoe do the stunts while giving Tom Peter the worst experience in his life just by kicking his ass and still destroying the building, it just had no price, only made me wish more for even more scenes of Goblin owning everything. I admit I would've liked to have seen a fight scene on the bridge to show Goblin in his original armor, even if it would've been CGI, just him using the pumpkin bombs and his razorbats against Iron Spider.

well now I'm pissed they cut out Green Goblin vs Tobey and Green Goblin vs Doc Ock both those fights would of been amazing!!!!

Alot of these are cool concepts but I think I'm glad that we got what we ended up with Again these work incredibly well as concepts which is the point of concept art. To conceptualize ideas And a lot will get cut, doesn't stop them from being cool as concepts though

They made the right choice going with the designs they went with, there’s no doubt they are the same characters from the previous movies one could argue are just variants, but if they showed up looking different, they would just be variants of characters we’ve already seen, so why don’t they just belong to the MCU to begin with.

I'm pretty sure if Goblin wearing the Iron Man armor was combined with the Mysterio variant showing up, Peter 1 would've killed both of them, symbiote or not.

Yeah. This is why I'm subscribed fantastic work. I liked some of those green goblin suits. Honestly i wish electro would have wore that yellow and green one with the mask.
