CORRECTION:: Korean Air's' 777-200s are the extended range, 777-200ER. We incorrectly noted them as non-ER variants.

I think the merging with Asiana AL it’s also the perfect time to update this livery as well
-
Guess the upcoming First Class Suite would configure 1-1-1
-
Only 160 aircraft? Feels like more. The airline has multiple craft at major hub airports with a spotter with a v-channel at any time of day.

The biggest loser of the merger will be the passengers. Similar what happened with Lufthansa's dominant development in Central Europe, market competition will decrease and prices will rise at lower service standards. Another problem will be the diversity in their merged fleet, as Asiana has been more loyal towards Airbus and Korean Air more loyal towards Boeing.

I wonder has Delta Air Lines thought about buying up the Korean Air A220 fleet...
-
787 & A350 are future, they almost have to operate both. The 777-9X will replace the A380 & 748 planes which leaves KAL with only twins engined planes.

Excited to see what carriers install in the wide 777x cabin!

I just love the sumptuous and refined services of Korean Air on transpacific routes I have experienced. It is superb to witness the expansion of Korean Air's fleet.

2:28 KE does not have non-ER 777-200s. They are all ERs.

nice viideo

korean air trying to be like thai airways with their diverse fleet
-
korean air has the 200 ER not the regular 200
-
Way too many fleet types... Looks like they're beginning to address this .. With the scrapping of their first A380 earlier this year, with more surely to follow, even after the merger. Can't see them retaining such a small A220 fleet as well. Older 777's, A330's ,and 747s next to follow.

Why the hell does america need to get involved in this? It‘s not like this is an american airline nor is south korea in america. I don‘t get it.
-
I guess korean air mergibg with asiana is probably a end of an era

KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries) involved in the manufacturing process of Boeing 777x, 787 and Airbus A350, mostly on wings structure
