  • Jess, thank you so much for your videos! Since I started watching them a while back - I have transitioned my kitties to mostly a freeze-dried raw diet. My kitties thank you for the great ideas with food! We live just north of Miami so we will try to RFA and see if I can get them eating other than just the freeze-dried raw. I went with freeze-dried because it seemed to be the easiest for me at the time. I am thinking whole food may be something to try as well. I just wanted to say thank you, for the videos and tell you that my furry faces absolutely appreciate your wisdom! Oh, also, I use a stainless steel bowl and a stainless steel hand potato masher to mash up the freeze-dried food. Then I let it soak up the water for a bit, add a little more water, and serve. I use my only blender for my smoothies and I felt weird putting raw food in it, so I got this and it works really well. I considered getting the kitties a blender of their own, but this works really well so I probably won't. I just thought I would share that, in case it is helpful for any of your followers :)

Great video! I do buy my pets' raw food from hare today, and raw feeding miami. I've tried viva raw pets and I don't quite like their meat. I only buy from viva raw during summer time because they are in California and I live in Arizona. Once the weather cools off in Phoenix, I start buy from hare today and raw feeding miami
  • Stinky Green Tripe is 👍. Ruger pulls the bags down from the shelf when he's ready for a treat. 😆
  • I've been really happy with Darwin's raw, they deliver and offered a $15 trial for 10 pounds!!! I figured I had nothing to lose after trying various others with little success. My cats love it and their health has improved greatly. I also use Northwest Natural freeze dried raw in a pinch. Thanks for your videos!
  • Thanks for the info but the crazy cat lady in me can't stop looking at how cute he is all curled up and comfy. I'm going to have to watch again lol
  • Thank you so much. I will definitely go slow Start with the toppers 👍❣️
  • In my country we have a brand called Leonardo, that it's said to be one of the best because of the ingredients. I haven't given it to my cat because I have to watch out for his kidneys, but I have a bag that's no grain, they use raw food and even krill. Can't wait for him to get his dental scaling so he can taste it!
  • Have you heard of any issues with bone pieces in the pregrinds? Dr. Lisa Pierson regrinds or gets double fine ground because she says the bones are usually too big. My cat never has eaten bones and has teeth missing (in front so probably doesn’t matter), so I am concerned. The egg shell may be “safer” but bone is more natural. Do you recommend starting out boneless? My cat is 8 years old, and ate kibble for first 7 years. She eats wet food now, and some raw. She does okay with 1/2” cubes of raw pork as treats, so I’d like to increase the raw and use a completer. Thanks for all your help and encouragement! ❤

I tried raw feeding Miami, but it came thawed out. And seemed like it went bad. Because cat liked the first bite and I didn't have to dance around him with tricks bagging him to eat. But the other bag I opened he wouldn't touch. Since I don't eat meat it took me a while to realize that it smells bad (had to give it to my neighbors to smell). So I don't feel comfortable to order more from them. 😔 The other brands you are mentioning are too expensive. I loved Darwin, and cat loved it for a while, then stopped eating it.. plus my husband is super against feeding birds, saying they are the most dangerous, and cat didn't like lamb. So Darwin is good and adorable but poor choice. I'm already tired of this food picking for cat and about to have a brake down. It's always something wrong 😭
