  • Jericho is a very big boy! One of the best things for my cat is that I'm retired, and we spend most of the day together!

My cat who lived to be 20, and I got at age 4, and became an indoor cat absolutely loved her stroller. She would jump into it when she wanted to go for a stroll but never went to the door to go outside. She also never asked to go for a stroll in the winter where it is cold here.

love that youtube recommended this to me right after bringing my kitten home yesterday haha!! glad to see I already knew the basics! I want my lil man to be as happy as he can be 🥰
  • Great video, I also think that an indoor Cat needs to be able to see the outside world either from a window ledge or a Cat tree My indoor Cat is a senior now but I still pop him up onto the window ledge so he can see the birds, squirrels, foxes and the weather conditions outside such as the rain, trees moving in the wind, sunshine or snow.
  • This is the first time I've seen your channel, and it's terrific. Thank you, algorithm! Jericho is gorgeous -- and looks very big!😊

I'm new to cat parenthood, grew up allergic and afraid of them, but now I am not allergic anymore and I adopted the sweetest little baby. She's almost 2 years old, and she's SO SMART. I know everyone thinks their cat is smart but my housemates in the unit upstairs (duplex) have a kitty and he's dumb as rocks by comparison. The problem with my little one being so smart is that she is bored easily. Thankful for this video showing up in my suggested, happy to see I'm already doing a lot of these things. I'm going to definitely track down a ripple rug because my little one is already past advanced puzzle toys 😂😂😂 Thank you for this video!

Happy Sardine Sunday to The Voice! Colbie, Panda and their sister Ebony are two years old today, born 3-3-22. Most people I know have at least two cats. One friend, who fosters, now has 10 cats. If they don't get adopted, she keeps them. One hack I use: I have several old carpeted car floor mats around the house. The cats use them for scratching. I also have a cat tower and a mat that someone gave me. There is a perch by every window in my house, so they can watch CAT-TV anywhere! LOL

Have you ever tried training Jericho to walk on a leash for enrichment? Or put him in a cat backpack and go for a walk? My cat jumps in her backpack to let me know it’s time!

My cat has issues and was left alone for the first five years of her life… it took over a year to teach her how to play and get her interested, she doesn’t care about looking out the window, she looks at me like “come on, I know that mouse isn’t real….”, I’ve tried hiding it under a blanket and paper, and I’ve set up a toy on a fishing line that she will go for for two minutes, but other than that, she’s just completely bored all of the time waiting for winter to be over to go outside… I work from home so I’ve spent lots of time trying to engage her in multiple ways. Her only love language after three years is brushing her for five minutes several times a day, but other than that she seems to be grumpy and unhappy lol. I’m at a loss! I wonder if a kitten would help her since she was basically left alone to have several litters and now we ARE bonded, She allows affection has a great quality diet, but when she’s not outdoors, seems to not know how to entertain herself or be curious.? Never had a cat like her and I love her personality otherwise and just want to help her! I think I’ve now watched hundreds of cat videos ….showed her stuff on TV, iPad tried to come up with solutions for stimulation… maybe this is just HER? I dunno, she seems depressed. Not sure anymore how to help her-she just walks away to sleep. Counting the days til spring. Lol

Wow, you are an amazing cat mom!!
  • My adopted 16 pound tuxedo female was 5-6 yrs old when she found me. Her disposition & behavior was similar to a canine. I interact with her constantly. She enjoys playing and going for walks outside at night. No leash. Indoors, we play with toys and she really enjoys praise for her effort. She's over 12 years old today. Mutually we are happy and content. I make different toys up so she isnt bored. She loves them all. You get back what you put into your efforts. Jerricho is a handsome, fortunate cat!

Great tips! Our situation is similar. We rescued Mylo from the bush across the street, and he's a single cat. Our apt is small also. I learned a lot, and I need help because Mylo was super active when he was outside but lays around a lot now. I blamed myself bc I am still learning due to tjis being our first cat, I had a dog, turtles, and a bird previously. Im disabled and physically can't be super active at times, but my daughter and I are learning from Youtubers like Jackson Galaxy and you etc. Thank you!

You are terrific. I never knew the reason they do the butt wiggle but it’s adorable.

Thanks for the effort and great information.
