clicking noise under 05 toyota tundra truck.

Trying to figure out what the problem is, had all the ball joints checked, banged on any possible things lose but no evidence of anything. There is a click noise while driving and when turning it seems like metal is biding up or something. Maybe inner tie rod? Noise is at 50 seconds and 1 min 10 seconds.

    My 4runner is making the exact same noise! I have been trying to diagnose it myself without taking it to a mechanic to overpay for what will likely be unnecessary work not solving my problem. Hopefully this video will help me pin-point the issue!

    What about the tie rods can do that noise too coz my car is doing a noise when the car gets Hot

    not yet, im ganna put new breaks and rotors but i think its my sway bar, so im ganna look into replacing the end links on it since they are cheap

    I've had several mechanics looks at it. No luck. Trans mount or drive shaft Carrier bearing is all I can come up with

    It was the transmission mount, replaced it with a new one from the dealer and it's gone

    There was a TSB released about the transmission mount but it only addressed the 2 wheel drive models. Here is the number: T-SB-0067-09 I have this noise also but all my bolts are in place and tight on the mount and cross bar. Unless there is a crack I can't see I really wish your fix was all i needed to fix my problem.

    Just curious how many miles was on your truck when this started? My 2006 tundra is making the exact same noise. Thank you so much for making this video you just saved me a ton of $,$$$ .

    I had a Toyota seqouia that sounded similar turned out to be u joint for drive shaft got down there a d started wiggling everything and then found out the u joint cap busted

    For me sound like the transmission crossmember it's crack, under the transmission mount. or sides.
