Here's a piece based off of an improvised idea I thought was worthy of making a piece out of. Basically I got inspired by my own melody I improvised to make a full new piece with it. I haven't composed music in a while, but this is still very much my own specific style of composition. I quite like how it turned out, even it may seem simple or a bit repetitive. Enjoy!
A lot of things about this piece make me ask the question, is it actually normal ragtime, or just a piece written in the style of the beginning of the 20th century? Honestly, a mix of both, probably. I love ragtime as much as the other one, and always wanted to compose in the style of the beginning of the 20th century, so here we are I guess.
